You know, 10 different items *isn't* a big deal. using 10 identical PRINTABLE TQs in the same transaction to me is yet another example of NOT going under the radar. Especially when you don't have a cartful of other items. I wouldn't use above 3 or 4 at a time, but I'm an "under the radar" gal and guess what? I never have problems with cashiers, LODs, GSTLs, etc. Coincidence? yeah, I get that some people don't live close enough to break up their runs into different times or days. I'm in the same position, but I still manage to not asshat my store Mad
Yep, there is a total difference between doing something *wrong* and doing something that will draw attention.

There is an art and science to targeting successfully... The science part is matching MQ/TQ/sales, but true magic is the art of targeting (flying under the radar). Whether it is right or wrong, it's just the way it is.

I don't see anyone saying there were signs posted in their stores.

post #25 in the hot deals thread: sorry don't know how to quote and bring it here:

"I can confirm that this is dead at at least 2 stores. Sign right on the register that they are not accepting this"

10 C9's would be too many for me in one run. I tend to stay with 5 or below. But what I get from that poster's rant is that he/she is well known to that store for flying well above the radar. Not to mention the apparent arguments/yelling matches.

This is exactly right. I know some people say who cares about staying under the radar if you are using coupons correctly, blah blah. Staying under the radar gets me in and out of the store quickly and hassle-free.

Teri, prayers for you and your DS.

The 10 C9 coupons is the same person that did 50 [FIFTY] Sobes in a transaction.

Even when using correctly if your flying high then the store is more than likely going to get upset. You will be gossiped about and pointed out to other employees and they will begin to give you a hard time. Wether they are right or most likely wrong the store will start to try putting limits on you. Just like the rant just posted in deals, the store employees and LOD/GSTL told corp that the poster was in the store everyday getting free items everyday so they had to be pulling something. Why put yourself out there in the fist place. I. just. don't. understand. it.

Uugh, I'm feeling so bummed the funeral is going on right now, I feel bad we are not there. I need to send flowers but I never did get any of my flower codes faxed in. I knew I should have had DH take some to Staples for faxing when he went to fax stuff last week. Frown

My lil man is just not feeling up to a Target run. I am so glad his fever seems to be almost gone though and that I won't need to take him in again Fri. Well unless his fever gets worse instead of continuing to get better. They were a little worried about West Nile because he had gotten a few bites.

At least I got my floors mopped. Guess I will start a batch of chicken chili for dinner and try to keep busy.

Quick question for those w/ the new registers & have done the Schick Quattro Titanium GC deal (or any GC deal). Has anyone had issues using MQ's with this? The first Q came off full value, second Q took off 30 cents, and third/fourth came off as $0.00. It seemed like the total amount couldn't go below $20 (which would be the value of four GCs, however there was only two GCs). Every single time I tried though, the register would lock up and crash.

Sounds like the new updates will drop the value down minus the gc value.

I am in a place that doesn't have the updates and they are not doing that.

C9 beeped even tho the pants were almost 20 dollars

Are the TS3 working for Acs? are the KK fixed for the Acs?

DH decided that for his 3 days off in a row we would drive down to the beach and hit the Aquarium and see the ocean for the first time this year. It was nice. We left in the morning and came back at 10pm. We got a 'membership' to the aquarium - because it was only $10 more than admission for our family and it offers unlimited visits to all 3 of the NC aquariums for a whole year plus 150+ other zoos/aquariums/museums all offer free admission also AND the whole $50 cost is tax deductable. The kids pet a horseshoe crab and a starfish and we saw a baby sea turtle that was the same age as baby Emmilyne.

The cutest thing was when we were looking into the shark tank, DS#2 age 7 says to me..."Momma, Momma look I saw a shark that has a head that looks like a hammer. Look Momma! there it is, see like a hammer."

That's what it sounded like, but still didn't make any sense though since the $$ total wouldn't go below $20 AC, which would be the value of four GCs. Something is screwy, to say the least. And the funny part is, the Target Q's aren't programmed like the MQ either, because once I got to $20, it took off the $1.00 TQ for Ziploc but refused the MQ (then crashed)

You're right TN hug

We are here at the university and settled in. They brought him in by Lifelink and he's gonna be so upset that he wont remember it Coverlaugh He is still out like a light. Once in awhile he opens his eyes and talks for a bit but then he's out again. Earlier, the nurse was trying to get him to open his eyes so she could flash a light in them. He opened them, but he was snoring laugh out loud Waiting for the doctor on call to review his films and come talk to us.
Haven't had a chance to catch up on much. Don't know how much battery I have, I finally remembered to bring the laptop with me to the hospital, so while he's here sleeping, I'll have something to do.

I had a different issue with the Schick yesterday. They grouped for the giftcard, and when the first MQ was scanned it jumped down to the last razor and then no more would scan in Confused

About the poster with 10 C9 items - 10 items is not a lot but 10 of the C9 cpns were a lot acc to me..Especially since it has been posted that the cpn is now beeping...That is the same person who got into problems at the same store during the Sobe deal...Agreed the manager shldn't have called him/her a thief but he/she invited trouble upon themselves...

M2C - Pm for you....
