It does stink about the whole auto adjusting though. You have to be super careful now about how you hand your coupons and who's having family reunions in your cart. It's pretty crazy. Can you imagine what happens to the consumer who *doesn't* know that??

I made a run to T. DH decided he'd like a pair of shorts for working out - his are realllllyyyy old and have been loose and practically falling off of him for a very long time! They had c9 shorts and workout shirts for 9.99 each - used 2x the TQ with no beeps. I'm really starting to think that it's just coded for men's clothing and they somehow skipped women's clothing codes.
I found the Merona hobo bags!! I was shocked. The sign said 30%, but they were actually tagged at $2.50 (I forget if that's 50% or 75% - either way, it's not 30%!) There were toys like that too - but since I wasn't buying toys I have promptly forgotten what they were. *sorry* I got a hobo bag and another purse that was $4.98. I used 2x merona $3 tq's - both beeped, but cashier k1'd.
Oh - is this something new? I went down the gum aisle and happened to peek at the bottom row and they had bins with giant packs of gum in them. There were multipacks of Stride, Trident, and I think maybe Orbit and 5 - but I don't remember 100% I was just shocked because I can't remember seeing them before. DH will be on
I found the flame disks by the summer clearance. They had 5 of them in a box, but I only had 3 q's. I got them without issue. They are marked down to $3.48. I hope they have more tomorrow!

And isn't it odd how prices can be different at 2 different stores that are 20 minutes apart. Weird... I almost have to do a T1 and a T2 spreadsheet for my runs so that I know what to expect at checkout time!

It's been a good day. I'm very tired today already, but it's good. I sure hope this baby comes soon though - I have been getting the braxton hicks contractions more often the past couple of days. I hope that's not just her being ornery.
I made a quick stirfry tonight - nothing fancy. Chicken, veggies, garlic, salt, pepper, little splash of vinegar. I was going to do lime and cilantro too, but we are out of lime already. GRRR.
DH suggested that maybe we could try the South Beach diet for DD. She's pretty bummed that it's been 1 week and she hasn't lost weight - and she feels constantly hungry, etc... Part of it, I think, is that she's been having a few carbs per day - under 10 - but it's not totally been carb free for her. Also, she hasn't been exercising regularly. DH thinks the south beach diet may be something she'll look forward to more since she's frustrated and I think worried that she'll never eat carbs again.
I am, of course, wondering how on earth I became elected to be the dietitian in the family... *laugh* So, now I need to cook for DH on his Atkins diet, DD on her South Beach diet, the Toddler who is perfectly comfy with the pb&j diet, and myself who is on the "eat whatever is in sight" diet... *sigh* This will be interesting...
My biggest problem right now is keeping stuff in stock and figuring out snacks. DH is almost done with his 2 week induction, but DD still has 1 more week to go. I just don't know what to do!
Ugh... I just realized that I forgot to get eggs today.
