Could it be a barcode issue? That is so weird.
Had an early morning breakfast meeting. Decided to hit target right after since most people were reporting summer at 90%. Our store was wiped clean. No hidden clearance to be found. I scanned the ice tea maker, snow cone machine, and tons of nerf guns.. everything scanned full price! There were maybe 10 items on the 90% rack. I grabbed some side walk chalk for .49, one for .12, and some cookie cutters for .29. No purses or clearanced c9 either. Overall, it was a wasted trip. My target GC amount has dwindled down to almost nothing, and the thought of paying real money for stuff makes me not want to go
Ank or Gator - I know you guys are Kroger shoppers and I haven't done a deal in awhile. I read through several pages of the thread. I saw the deal with the cheese catalina.. what else is really a hot deal? Ank, you mentioned something about crayola? Can you fill me in? And Gator, what are you getting overage with? Thanks guys!

Hoping all the sick kiddos are feeling better today.
My DD went poop in the potty twice last night by herself. usually we wait until we see the sign that she is about to go and take her, but this time she asked to go and went! I think she is tired of the LPS toys for prizes.. good thing I picked up some chalk and stuff today
DS is coming home today as long as they get the discharge papers done in time. He'll have home PT for awhile. I am so HAPPY
As luck would have it, Teeter just put out mark down Angus beef. I picked up a 20.xx roast for 4.xx, beef short ribs from 15.xx to 5.44, and filet mignon from 31.xx to 10.80. I was able to use the 5.00 cats from the current kraft deals to get some great cheap meats.
But today, I just want light stuff, real food. No fast food and no hospital food. I'm cooking some purple hull peas, fresh zuchinni and tomatoes, and cornbread. Don't think I'm even going to have meat. Just veggies

Well... I did my shopping and did much better than expected. Chicken and a few other things were cheaper than I'd thought. I am very pleased and a little less stressed now.
Most of my TQ's beeped for some reason, but cashier just k1'd away. I think it must be an issue because she didn't even read the q's. It was kind of weird.
I saw 2 carts full of clearance glade stuff that looked like they were getting ready to put on an endcap. May have some decent deals if there's any q's to be had with 'em.
I dunno.
My store didn't have the colgate for the gc. They had Schick, but were all out. I got some 1.79 toothpaste & used mq/tq - tq beeped on everything, but was k1'd. *shrug* It all deducted correctly though.

I think I need to get a good book or two and do some more meal variety. DD especially would like some snack options. I'm trying REALLY hard to not eat carbs around them - but it feels weird to be sneaking things too. And I have to be careful because I like the veggies as much (more than) they do - so I will eat all the fresh veggies and not leave them any if I"m not careful! I dunno... maybe I should put me on low carb too - but I guess at the end of pregnancy it's probably not the best time to experiment with diet.
My store was out of all but 2 c9 clearance items under $5. Tons of hobos though. There were some summer plastic cups, but I didn't see any of the other stuff I was hoping for - which is okay cuz I shouldn't buy it anyways. LOL.
The school supply catalina is that you get $2.00 oyno wyb $10 of supplies or a $4 oyno wyb $20 in supplies. The price BEFORE the sale counts. So.... while the markers are on sale for $1 and the crayons for .25, the pre-sale price of $4.19/$2.39 respectively counts toward the catalina deal.
I did 1 box of markers and 3 boxes of crayons - got $2.00 oyno. I think I will do 9 boxes of crayons next and use my $2.00 cat, pay .25 + tax, get back $4. I am trying to see if I can find some deals to do that will gain me a little bit of $$ cuz I am totally out of cash - only have some T gc's. I do have some change floating around, so I may hit the SCO.
If you can find any mq's, the cheese deal is good with the mega sale - it's good without, but of course it's better with. If you buy 5 items, then you get a $5 oyno. The cream cheese is on sale for $1.49 (.99 after mega sale) and the Kraft blocks/shreds are $2.38 (1.88 after mega). You do have to buy 10 items total, so you may want to see what stuff is on sale that you have q's for.
I know that there's some overage with the Motrin $3 q if you have any. I foolishly sent mine off a long time ago - but I did have 2 lying around.
Well... wow. I'm tired. I think I will try to nap before church!

The locksmith was such a jerk! DD locked the keys in the car yesterday so no T yesterday. DH is at work and AAA is in his name but he left the card with me and in the past it has always worked fine for me just to give them the card when they get here. I wasn't out waiting by the car when he got here so he called DH and he said he was around the corner and would be here any sec but his wife was running the card out. So I run out and he saw me but took off anyway!
No T for me today either! I was really hoping to find a snowcone maker, maybe ice cream, and really wanted a bubble machine. lilB is so cute and amazed at bubbles right now, especially when there is a whole bunch. It is so fun to hear him laughing and see him all amazed at the bubbles.
