Anyone know what happens with a visa GC if you do a return (not at T) when you'd paid for one. I had an odd experience today where the register seemed to think that it successfully returned money to one, but then the balance didn't increase. I'm thinking that you can't do that. All worked out in the end, but I was just curious Scratchchin

Update has hit Mississippi. If we've got it down here in the South, there shouldn't be many people left who don't have it.. laugh out loud We're the last to get EVERYTHING, I believe.

Boys' Hanes socks - $3.79 - $1 Target printable - $.50 manuf peelie = $2.29 for bonus pack of 7 socks.
Men's Hanes socks - $5.00 - $1 Target printable - $.50 manuf peelie = $3.50 for bonus pack of 7 socks.

Did the update just hit your stores today?

I had to do a return at another store and the receipt showed it as being successful, and the amount was over the $100 actual GC... I called because I went to use it about 5 hours later and said I didn't have enough money on it.

I called Visa GC and they said that it can take up to 72 hours to show. I think mine took about 24 hours.

HTH

Teri - Good to hear that DS is back home with you.. Wow that's alot of stitches. Hope the heat cools down for you...

Going down to Wa on Sunday, guess all the summer stuff will be gone.. when I was there on Monday it was still only 30-50% off. I just wanted to get a BBQ for at least 50% off

If I have to do a return where I've used a TVGC I'll usually just tell them that it was a gift card and since I used it all up I don't have it anymore. Even if I do still have it and there's still a balance on it, I don't trust the whole credit-back process. I've only done it a couple of times but both times I was just handed cash back - I mean, what else can they do if you really don't have the card anymore??

Uhh, I think DS got spoiled in the hospital by being able to order whatever he wanted for meals. He just told me.."I want bacon, eggs and pancakes". I'm thinking, "well, we DO have plenty of Kelloggs" Roll

Thanks for the Visa GC info guys! It worked out ok b/c they gave me cash back after I noticed the issue. Bummer is that they kept the card. It would have been a really slick deal if they'd have given me the card back too.

So I finally tried some of the Fiber Plus bars yesterday. I was starving, and the first one was really tasty yummy so I had another one. Big mistake! Two hours later it got really breezy here Hide I don't think I'm doing that again Nono

I'm thinking that the key with this stuff is small doses... Serving sizes are more than just suggestions when it comes to these things!!

I used to buy 'em all for DH - but now he's decided to do the low carb thing so I don't know what I'll do with the few boxes I have. Try and give 'em away, I suppose... Or *slowly* feed them to the toddler. Hmmm.... maybe I could just give her half a bar at a time.

Well - I haven't made it back to T today, and won't likely. We've got some friends throwing us a little evening baby shower/cookout/any excuse for a party! Big Grin Looking forward to relaxing and trying to to think about shopping. *laugh*

I did go to Kroger early this morning with my toddler (oldest is on an overnight trip). I found crayons! Yay!! I did 3 transactions and stocked up on some cheese and stuff. Big Grin My awesome guy cashier was like EEK! and asked me how to do it. He actually wrote down the info I gave him (which was not about here... lol). He was pretty excited, so that was neat to see. They did mention about a guy that goes in and apparently does similar couponing.

Iagree DO NOT EXCEED SERVING SIZE LMAO

I don't eat the fiber stuff Nono I also don't eat sugar free candy anymore, after a near catastrophe on the freeway laugh out loud

I got a bag of sugar free jolly ranchers and thought, gee I can eat as many as I want since they are sugar free, so I had about 6 of them during the afternoon at work. I was commuting at the time and had a 1.5 hour drive from Columbia to Charleston. Got off work, got in the car and WHAM, all of a sudden I broke out in a sweat and thought I was gonna die. As luck would have it there was a wreck on the freeway and traffic was at a standstill and I was stuck. I was in tears and NEVER so happy to see a bathroom in my life Roll

The sad thing is - I have no fruit by the foot, and I absolutely refuse to pay for those things.

(plus, I already indulged my donut craving at Kroger earlier... lol)

We had salad tonight for dinner. Grilled some chicken and put on it, threw in some tomatoes and cukes, cheese, bacon, and chopped up hard boiled eggs. Now, I like plain salads just fine, and I love love love salads packed with all kinds of veggies and nuts - but there is just something about hard boiled eggs and bacon that makes the salad have a fantastic party.
I SO agree drool

Went to the T out by the beach today. Summer ringing up INF... normally I wouldn't bother BUT I found some great stuff... ice cream maker, tea maker, metal tub, pool... so I decided to give it a shot. Cashier had no idea what to do but the LOD was so nice and told her to just give it all to me for 90%. Made me happy because if we do in fact move this T will be walking distance to the new house. Whee
I looked high and low for both of those makers and the snowcone machine but no dice. Glad it worked out and you scored!

I have no idea when it hit.. I shopped yesterday and it was in effect. The last time I was in a Target was about two weeks ago and everything was still the same then - so it has hit sometime in that time frame.
