Still was well worth it. I haven't added up the receipts yet but think I ended up after multiple transactions at both stores with nearly $500 worth of clearance clothes, shoes, merona, etc. for around $30.
For that much savings, you could buy her a brand new pair of scissors and it would still be worth it. LMAO Good job!

I agree... I had 2 girls, both potty trained around 1 1/2 yrs old. But my nephews was a whole different story.. One was terrified of the toilet and wouldn't go near one until he was 4 and the other one was a bed wetter until he was 13... It ran in the family, my brother was a bed wetter until he was 11.. My sister tried everything even the "electric shock" pad or something like that... that one didn't last long.

Teri - I seen your post on "something upstairs" and laughed, cause one of my FB friends had just put the exact same thing on her status... She was asking for someone to come over and help her.. (She recently lost her husband to Leukemia and has 2 small children) and she said there was no way she was going up there.

Luckily a big brave friend came over, outcome - couldn't find anything either... they're thinking it was squirrels on the roof..


Did a day trip down to Wa. today... Was just going down to celebrate my granddaughters and BFF's birthday... and light off fireworks and fire crackers... Made my friend a special cake.... It was a "fancy crate" with a wine bottle laying on top... Fondant and hot humidity do not equal happy cake... by the time I got there the "walls" of the crate had fallen off from the heat, I was so upset.. had to run into T and buy an argh.. can of frosting to try and fix it... Bad thing is my camera broke in Maui so I didn't get to take a pic of it before it fell apart.. BFF took a pic of it after I had fixed it but still not the same..

went to one T, no summer clearance anywhere, did find some Merona purses - then looked at my receipt when I got home and see she missed 2 coupons, I'm hoping they will correct it when I go back on Friday.

Found the Speedo snorkel sets, rang up INF and the LOD said there is no way we can sell them to you and took them and put them behind her... wasn't going to fight with her.

Got 12 Chef Boyardee, 8 Colgate toothpaste and 5 toothbrushes. They didn't have one package of Bic pens???

So Friday will be my last trip down where I don't have to pay to stay... I'm helping my friends move on Sat.. they are going to store there things in Canada then go to Alaska for a year... then come back to Canada to live out their retirement years..

I'm going to miss them terribly... have already cried tons... They are more like a sister and brother to me, then my own brother and sister. They want me to visit in Anchorage - I don't like cold though...

Teri - didn't you live in Anchorage? When would a good time be to visit them, like when it's not cold? ha ha.

Well the bad news is they are moving in the summer, which is the warmest time. So if you want to go when it isn't cold, you have to wait until next summer. There is usually snow on the ground by the end of October, so if you went in September or early October you wouldn't freeze. If they are still there next summer, that would be the best time to see Alaska. The long days are great!

Sorry about your cake, I would have loved to see it before the heat destroyed it. So talented you are hug

sitting at work. very tired. yesterday the day starts at 3:30a.m. first job is ten hours then after showering then off to Penneys. Day ends about 10:30 p.m. Darn alarm goes off at 3:30!

Doing good with the losing weight thing.lost close to 6 pounds already. I messed up and didn't weigh in for week one. So my 5.9 GOES TO WEEK two.

I picked up an Evenflo travel system at 50% off and decided to assemble it to make sure everything is there. Well all the parts are there, but the whole frame seems rather wobbly. Is this normal for Evenflo? I'm normally a Graco girl, but the Graco travel systems sold out at 30%.

Appreciate any input before I call Evenflo about it! Thanks! Smilie
