Good idea, who knows when you will get the chance to sleep again Big Grin

I feel for you, but I've had the opposite problems. My water breaks way too early, 1st time that happened DD was born at 36 wks, 2nd time - DS was born at 32 wks, 3rd (and last) time - DD was born at 31 wks EEK! Luckily they have been all been relatively healthy, but all this baby talk makes me yearn for another one. My DH says "NO WAY!"

Now, he has no problem with my Q'ing (it fills my time and has me focused on something else), and even spent last night working on putting some software on my computer for better (or more than 2 Wink ) MQ printing. He's on my "good" list, for now, at least Big Grin

Yeah... I think we'll be headed to the hospital soon. Smilie They've held steady at 5 minutes, and are now getting stronger. Yay!!!

I can't wait to post pics everyone!

I hope you have a great day - do lots of shopping for me!! Big Grin

Oh - and KK's are expensive. I rarely get them - *maybe* 1x a year or so. I am a sugarholic though - and they are certainly sweet!
Don't lose hope - I don't know anyone who was as far along as you that didn't go w/in a few days and you've already been contracting for days as it is. I still think it'll be today/tonight and you're right - natural is better. hug

Oh Ank that sucks!! I don't know what to say about getting it jumpstarted because nothing ever seems to come that easily for me when I'm pregnant. I hope she doesn't hold out much longer.

I tell ya, I have four kids and SWEAR I am never having anymore babies. When I read your posts it makes me want it just a tiny bit.

This heat must be melting my brain.

Wow... you do go early!

And this software you speak of...???

Roll Well... you'd be in good company.

Who knows when this baby will come. I think she's just too comfy. Oh well. I am trying to be very patient. *shrug* We'll get there. Slowly... I guess. Better late then never - right??

I am a bit grumpy after my nap. I've been having rotten heartburn for the past few days too. Blech. I really want a moist chocolate cake with butter cream frosting. I am sure that is purely an emotional craving right now. *laugh* The only good, moist chocolate cake I've ever had like that was home made, and I just don't feel like it tonight.

I guess I'll do a salad with maters. Big Grin

I have some Kroger transactions organized. Thinking I should consider making some T runs for tomorrow too.

I told DH we should just relax and not expect Mavis to be here at any specific time. I told him we should just enjoy the time we have as the family we are right now cuz it's going to change big time real soon.

Oracle VM Virtual Box (not sure I was allowed to post that or not)

It's a free, and it basically you open it and it's a "virtual" machine (in a window on your desktop) and you can completely restore it to a point before you printed the coupons, and it doesn't leave any of those pesky cookies or registry keys behind that keep you from printing more.

I would have no clue how to use it, but my DH has been to VM Ware seminars. He is one of the top-tier IT people for a major bank, that is headquartered in Atlanta.

ummmm....your hubby may have to hold a private seminar. Location to be announced Roll

but seriously, doesn't that take up alot of hard drive? If your operating system is windows, wouldn't that put another OS on your hard drive, such as another windows? That would be a huge amount of space.

Yes, it takes up to 10 gigs. It's really not much, now days, but if you have an older computer it may be a problem. It's a completely separate OS, I have Vista on my laptop, and XP on my virtual box. My DH set up the Virtual Box to use what it needs for HD, but it can't go over 10 gigs, so it really doesn't even take that much.

You can always set up a "deal alert" for "hard drives". There's always deals on external ones Wink

Ooohhh... nifty... And probably means I have no hope of understanding it any time soon. Frown Sadwalk

But a SD seminar does sound interesting... Big Grin

Wave Ank - I see you are still holding on.. Any contractions?? Seems as if them sending you home was for the best afterall.. You wouldn't have wanted to be sitting there all this time.. Atleast at home you can try to be comfy, spend time with your kiddos, and surf SD ! I was hoping your contractions were the real thing for ya this time.. I bet when they start coming really regular and much harder you will progress fast. It isn't that uncommon that they sent you home. When I worked OB, they usually didn't want to keep you unless your water broke, or you were having regular contractions AND cervical change.. I went once with regular contractions.. They kept me for several hours and checked me twice.. I made no progress so they sent me home.. I delivered the next night.

My kids tried some of the nature valley thin granola squares that I had gotten free from kroger.. They had a nice little layer of peanut butter on them and the toddler especially loved them. I may need to get a few more boxes tomorrow I guess.

Worked all day and stopped by for a quick kroger run on the way home.. I had hoped to come home, make dinner, and go back out.. but, I just couldn't do it.. I am too darn tired today. Hoping to hit target tomorrow.. Need more produce Smilie

I'm hanging in there. Contractions still, but bearable. No water breakage, so I am staying put. *shrug*

My MIL cracks me up. She's convinced that it's an insurance thing and that I should go back if I am still having contractions. She also is afraid that I might not survive if I don't get an epidural. It's kind of cute. I told her not to worry - I haven't ruled out the possibility, but if I can go natural - why not?? ;-)

I did take a nap but didn't sleep as long as I had expected I would. Oh well. Hoping to sleep more tonight. We'll see. I am driving myself buggy cuz I want to be doing stuff. But... eh.

Tomorrow, if things don't progress labor wise - I'm shopping. That much I am sure of. I have some major krogering that I waited til last minute to do!! Smilie

I hope there are some good TQ's this weekend. I know, technically the ones we have now are good - but it'd be nice to have some nice overage ones if possible...

ETA:

Kind of weird for me... but for a little while now (maybe 20 minutes??) my belly has felt very full and tight - kind of as if I'd gotten stuck in the middle of a contraction. Does that make sense? It's not *that* bad until Mavis decides to start dancing around in there. Then it actually is painful. Ugh... I have a feeling this will be a long night.

anyone know?

I have a new GC with a 200.00 balance. I checked the balance online and it says 199.68 is the balance.

Ank, hmm, that's weird. Maybe she's pushing outwards and it's making your tummy hard? I don't know. Why can't everything just be easy like the movies? Sleeping, water breaks, "oh honey, it's time to go!", "okay dear", drive to hospital, have virtually pain free delivery, out pops perfectly plump and pink baby and you look fabulous with your perfect hairdo and makeup.

That is very odd... I would call about that or something - there should be a CS #, right?

GO MAVIS! I just had a girl 5 mths ago. Can't wait to have a third, but DH is not convinced. Everytime I get impatient he's like "Are you SURE you want another one?" =)

DH asked me the other day "are we sure we really want to have more??"

Roll It's a little too late to ask that NOW!!! ha ha ha

He also asks that when we have a particularly "interesting" day with our toddler... I just say "and this too shall pass..." Big Grin

Congratulations on your little lovey! They are so wonderful.
