Just got back from Target - thankfully the rain has taken a break and it didn't rain a drop while we were out!! Expecting it to start up again any minute now, though.

Anyway, it was SO nice to have a cartful of stuff we will actually use for once!!! I know I miss terribly the days of great overages, but I *don't* miss bagfuls of carp sitting around my house that I have to figure out what in the world to do with. I ended up with JJ, CB, MP juice boxes (the cheap ones...), Bic, jeans for the kids, C9 muscle shirt for hubby (3.98, TQ auto'ed beepless), Simply Juice raspberry lemonade, random skyball (marked down to 2.24), romaine hearts, strawberries, fruit cups, and razors - all for the low, low price of $12!!! It was a fantastic feeling to walk out the door with real groceries for next to nothing.

Oh, and dreeme, thanks for the HU on the jeans. They look pretty cheap, so I don't have much hope for them lasting too long, but for $2, I'm not gonna argue. shake head Be sure and check your clearance racks, too - I found Genuine Kids by Osh Kosh pants and shorts for girls, marked down to 4.98. Minus the TQ, makes for cheap clothes, and I have never had a complaint about that line. Almost as good as the original!!

I will definitely be making more trips to T in the next couple weeks - gotta stock up on the produce and JJ and CB!!

MOT2 - IMO, would probably depend some on who did the Photo-shopping. I would think the best way to find out would be to zoom in really close where the two pics were 'joined' together and you might find some pixelation/garbage/funky mismatched colors/etc. leftover. From a distance, maybe not-so-much.

Checked out the jeans too, didn't look like they'd fit dd so I passed Sadwalk Lots of boys Osk Kosh denim marked 75% though. Just tons of inf/todd. clothes marked 30-50% too, hoping for some good clearance the next few weeks!

Hey, has anyone checked Target to see if they have Chef Boyardee pizza sauce? I meant to the last time I was there and forgot. But I also wasn't sure the coupon would be ok to use on it. I mean, pizza sauce IS food, you do eat it, but it's more of an ingredient, kwim? My husband and daughter LOVE the ravioli, wish we lived closer. I would be making regular forays to the ravioli aisle.
Good thinking, here's the store locator for ConAgra stuff...http://www.conagrafoods.com/consu...p?ftr=true

Anybody know the price off the top of their head?? Will have to check the price next time I am there - which may just have to be this afternoonTeehee We just did a lot of homemade pizza sauce but I think I kinda prefer the canned on that, just call me strangeConfused And I would especially prefer it if it was cheap!

I don't know the price at target, but I frequently buy pizza sauce for my kids favorite dish.. pizza casserole. The glass jars are usually around 1.25-1.50 each at the grocery store.. so I would expect target to be closer to the 1.50 mark if they have it.. Now that I think about it, I honestly can't remember ever seeing a CBA brand, I usually buy pizza quick which I think is made by ragu. But,I would think they would all be in the same price range.

Its my first time posting here so please be kind, or at least pretend too. Wink

I have done a bday at chucky cheeses a few times here as there aren't many options,i they will allow u to bring your own cake but not other food, as for the large party tables u can use them if they haven't been reserved etc, when it was busy we used 3 booths since there weren't any large tables available.

As for chef pizza sauce, I have only seen the pizza making kits they are $3.99, these are actually yummy and fun to make with the kids!

As for Chef and "Barney Style" we did get a bit out of hand but, there wasn't much going on anyhow, I do realize it was considered chit chat.

First off, welcome to the chat thread.

Second, thanks for the info on CeC. I will bring my own cake, then. Even though its "just family", that involves honorary members and stuff, so our crowd can be quite large. Here's hoping a big table is available!!

Just read that Shoppers is doing their dollar doubles this week. Faint Can a girl not catch a break??? Setsail, you have Shoppers near you, right? I actually prefer doing these at Shoppers, because they don't limit you like HT does. And you can use their SCO and scan your own coupons. Anyway, guess I need to get my coupons organized and get planning!!

Not too many probs, using coupons at T's but

The philosophers though seem to come out whenever there are coupons for shoes, socks, clothes, "home" aids, etc, making these coupons nearly useless. Does this happen to anyone else?

I'm shopping early in the morning, on weekdays, do I need to change times?

*laugh* Welcome!! Wave

Deals have been pretty lame lately - makes it hard to just peek and leave, eh?

Does anyone know if WM sells gc that aren't for WM - i.e. like shell or something, and if they do can you use a WM gc to pay for it? OR do you know if you can use a WM gc at the gas pumps at Sam's club to pay?

Stupid flat tire on my vanMad I had major shopping plans today.. Needed to hit up publix for more quaker bars and fruit cups.. along with a few RC... Seems like the sale ending on Wednesday always catches me off guard and I miss things I wanted..

Day hasn't been going so well anyway.. Didn't get in from work until 12:30 last night.. My kitchen was a wreck from dinner so I stayed up and cleaned it. Then I spent 20 minutes or so looking for a receipt my DS needed to return a college book today.. By the time I hit the bed it was 3:00 am and my DH woke me at 7:10 to ask if I was dropping my son off at school todayshake head He finally agreed to take him, but I couldn't go back to sleep until 8:30 and my toddler woke up at 9.. I hate days like this.. feeling like a slug and can't get anything done.
To make things worse, my 2 year old has gotten where she doesn't like nap time at all.. She will usually finally give in, but it is so late when she falls asleep that I only let her nap about 45 minutes.. Today, when I need to be getting things done, she won't sleep. She keeps screaming "mommy, I don't like this bed" LMAO "let me out"

The joys of motherhood!

Unless your store is just majorly busy in the early AM, I would try shopping at a more busy time. I *prefer* to shop in the early AM too (because it's more quiet and I can concentrateBlush) and I think at this point my store knows me so well that I rarely have problems anymore but every now and again there will be a coupon that is better used when the store is super busy so they just scan away rather than scrutinizing. FiberPlus deal was one of those. Everything perfectly legit, but when they are more busy they just don't pay as much attention.

I feel like a peeping tom sometimes in here. I know everyone from reading all the posts but never contribute since I don't want to intrude.

Aw, I do the same thing, feel like I know everyone pretty well, but don't post much. The TCCers are a great group, haven't made me feel like a stalker at all! LMAO
