On the back pack talk.. I will add my .02 worth.. I also try to buy mine for next year when they clearance them out. I sometimes make the kids start with the old ones and then when target goes 75% off at the first of September, I snag a few new ones.. As far as the target ones go.. I have had good luck if I get the name brand ones. My DD has a Jansport backpack that she has used for several years and she carries alot of heavy books in it. Still holding up great. I used to pick up the cheapy ones when the kids were little. I didn't care if it only lasted a year because mine always wanted a new one every year.. especially the character ones! They work great for taking a few clothes to grandma's house for the night too Smilie

I have never bought LL Bean, my kids need stylish backpacks too. I usually wait until they are 75%, then they get a new one for the year. They don't mind using their old ones for the first month or so.

Best backpack we've ever had was my DS kindergarten (yes kindergarten) backpack from Hot Topic. It was a Slipknot (the band) backpack. We still have that thing, and use it all the time. Dad's in a rockband, so DS has to be Cool too Wink

Good luck Ank. One of these days I'm going to get on here and find out little Mavis is here! Smilie

I am at work and so sleepy. Can't wait til midnight gets here. I was looking for something on coupons.com a few minutes ago and got excited very briefly, then remembered I don't buy cesar anymore Down
But for the few who do like cesar still, and can use it... there are some great coupons right now b2g1 cesar, and b4g2 ceasar, and a b1g1.. and on redplum.com there is also a b3g1..

Flugette, I know it doesn't really help but there is a LL Bean outlet in Williamsburg. I bought a small backpack there in June to toss on the back of the stroller for $5. As others mentioned, I buy backpacks out of season and put them aside. I have a hard time parting with backpacks too- we homeschool but yet I still have backpacks around the house. lol

More good luck wishes, Ank. Have you passed your due date? My memory is a little foggy this week so I don't remember.

Then you should get down here and just do it. Start at the bottom and work your way up. Just make sure you get paid appropriately for your time. You take Visa right? Evil

I buy 4 at a time and I always get it. LMK what we are buying with those things though, I'm at a loss. My kids eat the fruit snacks but I don't want to buy 2 boxes just to get one free laugh out loud

The other day when I was shopping I got a catalina for a "free market pantry lunchbox item when you buy 2 other market panty lunchbox items" I think it listed fruit snacks, granola bars, pop tarts (sorry used it already), but anyway today I bought 2 MP items that were $1.49(?) and $2.14(?) each and then bought the large box of fruit snacks for $6.19. Gave her the coupon and it took off the $6.19 (max value stated on the coupon was $7.xx) Whoo hoo. I thought for sure it would take off the $1.49 but it didn't. My strategy worked.
I think I found what to buy with the MP cat.

Just purchased all of DS's college books for his first semester for a grand total of $44! Woot!

Please share your secret! I spend over $300 on my DD's books...thanks to Target Visas. Smilie
But I sure would have LOVED to have only spend $44!

Lol. I feel like a dork. That's what I get for skimming. I feel like some jerk in the deals thread right about now. laugh out loud
I wonder if you need to put the highest priced item on the belt first.
