Last night R and I were watching a movie. When it ended he got up and said he needed a shower. Without missing a beat I said, "Wedding or baby?" For a split second he did not look at all amused. But then he said, "Soap and water. Wait, make that free soap and water."

ANK Ok now to guessing when you will have your new bundle of joy... I am thinking 8/8 at 5:30am and she will be 8lbs 5 oz.

[
[QUOTE=rachael_9667;31162750]Whee It's hard to believe that this pregnancy is more than half over. Starting 23 weeks now! My guess for Mavis is 7/23 - 11 am - 7lbs. 10oz. My guess for Alissa is 7/27 - 4 pm - 7lbs 6oz.

[QUOTE=kopenney;31172462]
Baby guesses:

Mavis Birthdate 8/10
Weight 9 lbs 11 1/2 oz

[QUOTE=love2beeamom;31173370]a splurge moment on Friday.
I haven't kept track of all guesses, so I may be duplicating some, but am honestly too lazy to look back..

My guess

Ank- 8/3 7:30 am
weight 8 pounds 12 oz

[QUOTE=skynsam;31173680]
Not going to do the guessing game... couldn't get me to touch a due date with a 5 foot pole! laugh out loud

[QUOTE=meeshecat;31174838]November... when is your due date? My b-day is Nov. 18th and my sons is Nov. 19th... so I say you should have her on the 18th Wink Awww that will be so much fun to have continous babies coming!!

I am still at home, but contractions are still going 5 minutes. I do think today is the day. DH is on pins and needles, and I'm just huffing and puffing through. Smilie

Me too! I'm starting to think it may be. They are super sharp contractions, in my back and abdomen, 4-5 minutes and no signs of slowing or easing up when I change activities or position. Smilie

I guess this baby just wanted to be super punctual. laugh out loud

DH is on his way home from work. He's so excited it's hilarious. When he called to tell me he was on his way home and so excited that I could almost picture him jumping up and down like a little kid about to burst on Christmas morning! *laugh*
Oh Ank, I am so excited.. I hope you have asked your DD to keep us updated...bounce bounce

Bought 2 JJ's today, that worked to get the MP cat. Now, what am I buying with this thing LMAO LMAO JJ was $2 here, so .50 after MQ/TQ, not bad. Where was I when this deal first began? Looooove walking out of Target with 6 bags of stuff for $15.....was very happy to find a 3-pk. of G&O undies 75% off. I love that brand!
I would suggest buying 2 of the 8pk MP Toaster Pastries and the HUGE box of Fruit Snacks for no beeping.

My kids hardly eat Fruit Snacks, but I figure I might send 1 with each kid to school one of these days, with a few packs of JJ, so their classes can have snack time.

You know what, we need to start a charity. Some kind of "couponer's give back". I have all this stuff to donate, but I don't necessarily want to just drop it off somewhere. It's a 1000x more meaningful if you can actually give it those in need. I've thought about just taking some of it down to "tent city" in Athens, but it's such a dangerous place, that I don't know how well that would work out for me. The school is trying to find out the name of the charity that gives backpacks of food to kids who don't have any besides their school lunch.

I just watched "I'm Pregnant And..." on the Discovery Health Channel. The "And.." was a couple who, like many others, because of the economy, were homeless and living in their van & tent. They kept applying for jobs, but because her husband had a problem with the law when he was in his teen's and he was considered a felon, he had a really hard time getting a job, and they didn't qualify for federal housing or help. At 8 1/2 mo. the wife was 15 lbs lighter than when she got pregnant. They were panhandling for a little money for food, and I just wanted to reach thru the TV and give them some Chef Boyardee, Juicy Juice, Fiber Plus & Special K cereal, Fruit Cups, ect...

If only we could give coupon seminars to low-income people, so they can strech that food stamp money farther.

Unfortunately, most people wouldn't take the time to learn or to keep it up.

Sorry, a little frustrated this morning on the subject. My co-worker, who is always complaining about not having any money, spent $100 Wed to get a few blue highlights put in her hair (we're talking very few), then used her Food Stamps card to buy a SOBE! I told her, get 2 and I will give you the coupons to get them for free. She said, "they are free, I'm not paying for it!" and swiped her FS card! Grrrrr

I know what you mean. Last week at a gas station I watched a mom buy a 6 or 7 year old bare foot girl a Monster energy drink and 2 packs of Skittles around lunchtime and then use food stamps to pay for it. To top it off she then did another transaction and paid more than $10 for two packs of cigarettes. It was all I could do to not say anything.

No... didn't call yet. I guess the whole being sent home last week kind of makes me want to wait until I'm ready to push or something.

You're only 5 minutes away, I don't blame you for waiting. JUST DON'T SNEEZE before you get to the hospital!

Mandy - I feel the same way all the time. I just drop stuff off at the food pantry but I know it's not reaching the very most needy.
