with my fourth I knew I was in labor. The ctx were regular, painful, and consistent. The L&D nurse wanted to send me home. The Dr. wanted to send me home. (day before my due date mind you) I just KNEW this was it. No changes. I was still 2cm, super thick cervix, posterior (goes anterior with impending labor), and she was head down but turned sideways.
I was MISERABLE. They kept me ONLY because I was a tad dehydrated. They figured with fluids the ctx would stop and I'd go home.
I got into my room around 2:00 that morning. They checked me at 5:00 because my ctx changed. Not in how they looked on the monitor, but how they felt to me. I was fully effaced, 5cm, bag bulging, she had flipped to the proper way, and she was engaged. All that in 3 hours.
They got my epi in me and she came out with 1 push 30 minutes after they placed my epi.
Now, you are a momma and you KNOW if something is amiss. It might not be real labor right now, but that can change in one minute.
Get some rest because I have a feeling she's coming very soon!

I am still having painful contractions - and the past 4 have been back at 10 minutes. *sigh*

My store has crayons, but for some reason I was thinking the cat deal ended on the 18th.. guess I need to check the kroger wiki..
we are swimming in fruit snacks.. between publix sales, kroger mega deal and cat deal with the fruit snacks, and now the target cat coupon for b2g1.. My oldest DD just looked at me funny when I unloaded that big box of 50 snacks from target tonight
we had horrible storms tonight. It was a treacherous drive home from target. I kept thinking that I have been driving 20+years and it was scary, I can't imagine my teens driving in weather like that.. Letting go is so hard. My son will be getting his license in 2 weeks and it scares me so.
I broke my phone last night and am so sad.. My fault, which makes it worse. I close my jacket pocket in the car door and cracked the screen. I have insurance, but the deductible is 89.00.. I am trying to decide if I want to pay the 89.00 or just upgrade and get a new one for a little more..
