breaking news: armed man in our bldg - NO OT PLS.

Please pray for the safety of our employees. This is in silver spring, MD. News said there is a hostage. Police locked down the vicinity and I saw swat team. We were out of the bldg but some I believe are still there. This is the discovery channel corporate bldg.

I wonder too, why the Discovery Channel. Wonder if it's an ex employee? Does OP know anything?
FBI and ATF have been dispatched; at least one shot has been fired by the subject. A bomb squad has also been deployed.
No confirmation on whether there is an actual explosive device, or what the guy wants. It was said that the man looked to be of Asian origin.
Now let's just hope the cops can kill this bastard without anyone innocent getting hurt.
