breaking news: armed man in our bldg - NO OT PLS.

Please pray for the safety of our employees. This is in silver spring, MD. News said there is a hostage. Police locked down the vicinity and I saw swat team. We were out of the bldg but some I believe are still there. This is the discovery channel corporate bldg.

I really wish news organizations would not give these guys the attention they want. Don't give their identity. Don't tell the world their "manifesto".. Don't make celeberities out of these guys.
On the 6 pm news, just say that a wacko took a hostage, but thankfully the swat team killed him before he hurt anyone else. End of story. Let these wackos die annoyomously.

So they shot the guy in the Discovery Channel building.
CNN reporting that cops shot the hostage-taker in Maryland at Discovery Channel office. No one else hurt. More soon.

He kept calling people "filthy" and saying that people need to stop procreating more "filthy people", so I'm guessing he didn't have high regard for human life, which may have figured in to their decision.
