breaking news: armed man in our bldg - NO OT PLS.

Please pray for the safety of our employees. This is in silver spring, MD. News said there is a hostage. Police locked down the vicinity and I saw swat team. We were out of the bldg but some I believe are still there. This is the discovery channel corporate bldg.

I would imagine it's pretty good. I spend a lot of time in that area (was just at DeMarco last weekend) and it's a vital area.
I doubt that there are many fruitcakes like this one who think it's Disc.Channel's job to save the world.

If it failed, or didn't explode as intended, he might be alive with some burns and a GSW. I'd bet they dropped him, though, and the thing went off as the result of a dead-man switch as Fallacy suggested.

And yes, he could just have burns. The point is, just because police say he's "in custody" shouldn't assume the fact that he's alive.

Either way, I'm glad that all of the people of worth got out of this ok. The only possible death is just some little sub-human thing that really doesn't matter.
