Hot Toys for Christmas 2010: Predictions

383 33 September 11, 2010 at 11:46 AM in Chat (2)
What do you think will be the hot toy for 2010.

I'm leaning towards mighty beanz right now. My son is a huge Star Wars fan and is crazy about them. They not only do Star Wars, but Marvel Super Heros and they also have a normal line for the younger kids. I like how cheap they are. Only $5 for a package of them.

I'm 26 - if I could afford it I'd still buy legos.

Big Grin I didn't say I threw them in the trash, now did I! I have a little statue that stays on a shelf and when a new one floats to the surface, I add it.

I never built what the box showed first - I had to create my own thing. Probably why I went down the path of art where "you'll never make anything out of yourself". bouncelaugh out loud

To each their own Smilie I remember old school legos always had "alternative models" I think on the back of the box (but no instructions for those)?

Also some legos (like a technic construction set - I don't really remember the name or whether it even had one) just came with pieces, gears, motors and no instructions. Those were meant for pure creativity too. I think those were the only legos my dad approved of because it meant future engineer Stick Out Tongue (My mom was the one that spoiled me with legos)

I'll admit I always liked following the instructions if they were available. I loved the Castle and Aquanauts.
