DS is doing fine...The ped said it looked mostly like allergic reaction to cut grass, DH had mowed the front lawn on sunday morning and the kids were playing in the driveway...She said it doesn't look serious and should be OK in 4-5 days..
The kids went to their first day of Pre-K, cried and howled when I left them but were happily playing when I went to pick them up...The teacher said they cried for like 2 mins after I left and then they were fine....
Hubby took my oldest for his pre-K5 physical. I was too chicken, as I knew shots were involved. Hubby said he was such a big boy, didn't even cry. When they finished the last shot, though, he said, "I don't want to do that again, Daddy."
Hubby was upset, though, because the nurse was giving him the hearing test, and getting very frustrated with him because he didn't understand exactly what she wanted him to do. He ended up failing the hearing test because she had no idea how to handle him. Mind you, my kid is a well-behaved child, he just doesn't comprehend simple instructions all the time. Hubby was so upset, because now we have to go back and try it again, all because the nurse didn't want to take the time to help Jaden.
OK, off to compile list/coupons for Rite Aid and Shoppers. Woohoo for free stuff, but my head is aching from figuring it all out!!!

My mother has had an interesting past. Before she was a medical coder she owned/operated her own daycare with 15+ staff. Whenever new parents came to drop off a child and they were crying, she would suggest that they walk out the front door and circle round to the back door and sneak in. 9 times out of 10 by the time they had walked round the building and back in to peak on their child the crying had already stopped.
Mind you they had to be careful the child didn't see them peaking in or the crying could start all over again when they tried to leave a 2nd time. Still it was a good way to help the parent feel a little less anxious over how long their little "Johnny or Suzie" were crying after they left.
Also seemed that often the ones that cried the most often when dropped off were just as likely to cry when it was time to leave. More like they just weren't comfortable with change than the actual absence of their parent.
I hope meshe's dh is doing okay!

I missed all the excitement
I got home from work yesterday and my DH was formatting my computer
We had been talking about doing it, because it was running really slow and needed it, but what a time to do it!
He is feeling better and went to work today, btw. Pretty sure it was a kidney stone. He called the hospital about the diagnosis, and they said they coded it as dehydration.
My laptop still is not done, but since DH is gone, I finally got to use his computer
Went to Target today, and most of BTS is 30% (mostly ticketed, so it won't be the quick 10 day markdowns, like non-ticketed). Included in this is the Case-It Binders and stuff. I got a Case-It Clipboard for my coupon binder today. This may be regional clearance, since school started here on Aug. 2 . Book bags and lunch boxes were not marked down yet. Usually, I don't think those go around here until after Labor Day.
