Its not just the coupons coded as $/1 - its ANY coupon where the amount on the coupon is more than one item. The Chef Boyardee $1/5, for example, automatically deducts .87 or whatever the price is of one can of pasta. Not complaining, because its overage for me, but its wrong on T's part.

Had a VERY strange run today. I was *almost* tempted to test the waters because this had been the last store to get the update and I wasn't sure if it was indeed updated or not. So glad I didn't. Oh my word. Unbelievable transaction. I have NEVER had these issues at ANY Target. BOGO 14s did not auto at all, they beeped INF, and when the cashier hit K1, it took off 0.00. And when he manually put in the price of the item, it required managers approval. I was purchasing Olay for the rebate, and had the exact items pictured. Thank God, because they went digging through my bags "just to make sure" and were questioning every single thing. Denied me the travel Tide, which btw beeped INF, instead of auto'ing to .97.

I figured the $2/2 Shout Qs would auto to .97 when I purchased the ones from the travel section, so I figured I'd use 4 coupons, to ensure I got the appropriate amount deducted for 4 items. First 2 Qs scanned at .97, the remaining 2 beeped INF!!! So obviously the register "understood" the coupon required purchase of 2, but still auto'ed down to the price of one item. Not cool. Not cool at all.

I'm sure there were other oddities, but I can't remember what they were. I only brought attention to the BOGO Q with the GSTL, because there's no way I was losing out on that much money. And she still acted as though I was doing something wrong, because *of course* the computer knows what its doing.

Honestly, if all my stores had this update, I wouldn't shop at T except to get my C9. Totally not worth it, and unacceptable to have no idea how coupons will respond when scanned. I can have much more fun shopping elsewhere, and not have to deal with the stress at checkout, where they inevitably treat you as though its YOUR problem when something goes wrong.

Anyway, gotta get off here and get some cleaning done!!

Congrats, LTL, on your hubby's new job!! That is AWESOME! We should hear on Friday if hubby's company gets picked to retain their contract - if they do, it *should* mean a better position, which usually means better pay!!!!

I too have had suspected coupon weirdness on my last few runs The cashier assured me that while the register showed 0.00 for the coupon it was coming off the total. It wasn't and I could not convince CS of otherwise. I think from now on I'm going to write down the coupon I (attempt) to use and their amounts because I refuse to be shorted a few bucks EVERY trip to T.

Just imagine how much they are making off everyone by charging them a few bucks extra here and there.I have been shorted a few times and have let it slide because kids were with me or just because of the hassle of going to cs, a few weeks ago 4 of my qs did not deduct properly for a total of 16$ I actually corrected that immediately because that was just ridiculous!
