Were hoping to move out of state within the next two years, either going home to cali, or were looking at a few other states, texas, washington, oregon, we even talked about alaska! They have target there lol

You know it's a slow night when my DH is watching commercials! OMG We've had a Tivo or DVR for the past 6 years, and haven't watched many commercials since then. Yes, we are those snobby people who will do something for 10-15 mins before starting a show, just so we can FF thru the commercials.

But, we had to Rofl2 at this commercial [youtube.com] tonight. 28 secs. into the commercial, tell me if you have EVER seen a pillow like their "regular pillow".

You could be in vegas sitting in a casino, spending your hard earned $ with a fruity beverage in hand, and loose all concept of time and day, only to realize when its over uve gambled away your whole entire life savings, and your wife has left you and took the kids and the bank is for closing your house!

Damn. I'd give anything for a 10-15 minute slot to do it.

holy shit. It took 300 years to make that pillow?

How they get air into those beads is a mystery to me.

I wish I was doing worse things Big Grin j/k I live in a college town too. About 1/2 of our population is students, and pretty soon, football will be starting again. Then I have to arrange my shopping around when the games are. Best time to go, during the game. Worst time, when the game is letting out!

Sometimes I wanna be "that family" that goes to the games, does things in the town they live in, and enjoys the people around them.

I don't even know how to get started doing that though. Both of my kids that are in school are in preK and K.

Football! Love it, also the best time to go out to eat, unless they have TV's, then you will never see your waiter.

Yeah, 5 minutes for popcorn, 3 minutes to get drinks, 2 minutes to get comfy, 54 seconds to find the remote, and 6 seconds to get a quickie in before the show begins.

Awww...I do too. But in reality, my kids would be complaining that they are hot, or can't see, or just generalized fighting with each other. They are pretty well behaved kids, but I am overly sensitive when we do things like that. Probably because it takes hours of planing on my part, snacks we may need, clothes, coats, umbrellas, ect.. and my DH just takes his shower, gets dressed, and says, "Are you guys ready to go yet". Meanwhile, I've been up for 2 hours before him (and on and off during the night worrying about things I may forget) struggling to get everything ready, and making multiple trips to the car (and we live in a 2-story house that the top story is the main living area, so that's two flights of stairs), while he and the kids take only themselves to the car. By the time we get going, I'm already exhausted and cranky.

But maybe that's just me as a mom Smilie

I think the time it annoys me most is at bedtime. I will start around 9p trying to get the kids into their showers, bookbags ready for school, clothes laid out, agendas signed, double-check homework, dogs let out, doors locked, ect.. I have to get up for work around 4am (it used to be 2am until T changed the time of our trucks), DH doesn't get up till 7am, but by the time I have all my stuff done so I can go to bed, my DH is walking into the bathroom for his stinky 20 min. sabbatical, So, then I have to either wear a gas mask, or go use the kids bathroom, just so I can finally go to bed. He just decides that he wants to go to bed, and walks in and lays down. I wish my life was that easy Embarrassment

At least he takes the kids to school in the morning, but that means everything has to be ready the night before, so he just wakes them up and goes to get his shower. They are "magically" ready and waiting for him when he comes out to take them to school. It's a miracle Wink
