EEK! well.. I would have to just happen to be listening really close.. I am nosey like that though. When I see people in stores or restaurants complaining about stuff, my DH always gives me dirty looks cause I like to listen in on the drama.laugh out loud

My DH does alot of the work here.. I would say he does about 90% of the laundry.. And he vaccuums, sweeps, and keeps things picked up alot. He does not cook ever though. I shop, plan the meals, and either I cook or my DD does. I really have no excuse, I only work part time, but he is a much quicker cleaner and is able to get so much more done with my DD here than I can. SHe doesn't demand as much of his time. I bathe her and put her to bed the nights I am home, but he does it on the 2 evenings I work.. I do all of the school stuff though. That keeps me busy during the days alot. Sadly, He is not much of a deep cleaner. Our room and the blinds in the house are so dusty right now it is gross.. I need to do some major cleaning!

Went to target tonight to try to get a little use of those bakery and produce coupons before they expire.. Also, my store had a ton of the clearanced colgate TP, so I grabbed several last night and some tonight.. Cashier was fine, but GSTL came by to give the cashier something and got all in my business.. Wouldn't k1 the beeping denim on my toddler jeans.. told me they weren't "kids".. I asked her "so toddlers are not kids?".. in which she told me that they were different departments, so I had her void them off..
Didn't want to k1 the c9 socks either.. Tossed them to me and told me to show her where they said c9 and champion.. thankfully I finally found it in tiny letters on the backLMAO

Got to make a kroger run for the MM schick hydos.. I have been sitting on a stack of coupons I bought and thanfully a kind SDer sent me a PM today and told me where to find a ton of thembounce

All in all, a great day.. But I ate too much! Need to exercise badly!

And, the temps are so much cooler tonight! It actually felt like fall when I was out at 10 pmGroupwave

Anything I'm missing, or locationally specific? I don't have many q's, but it'd be good to use what I do have.

Well of course. My 2 year old dumped out my Dr. Pepper, my wallet, and beef jerky in under 2 minutes. The dog got out and chased ppl walking down the street. My son is so emotional these days he might be a lesbian. My 4 year old is so bossy and manipulative I don't know what to do with her.

My husband won't stop staring at me.

WTF.
LMAO my 2 yr old didn't dump my Dr. Pepper this time. It was dh's. LMAO We aren't exactly sure where it went, there was a lot on the floor and under the stove but seems like there should be been a bigger puddle.

I had reserved our hotel in PA through Priceline and have spent the last week trying to get the site to work with the extend your stay for the same price offer. Today, finally worked but only to be turned down. Mad Dh put in a new request, ended up at a different hotel that cost $10 more per room and isn't nearly as nice. And the hotel staff are asshats, I can tell already from talking to them over the phone.

But I'm trying not to let my gottahavethebestdeal side ruin our trip. Embarrassment Almost gagged at the cost of 3 tickets for the Thomas event plus the special lanyard/whistle/hat set but it is monkey's birthday. Yep, he's the baby and yep he's spoiled. Didn't someone else mention they are going in a few weeks? If it's to Strasburg, we have reservations for 1:15 on 9/14. Might be neat to meet someone else while we are there. Smilie

and btw, my dh is quite a bit like the evening's topic. No wonder life didn't seem any different when he was deployed- because it wasn't except that I didn't have someone snoring all night, keeping me awake. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Same here. I freakin hate most people. laugh out loud

I'm feeling really craptastic tonight. I got the invites out for the kids' joint carnival birthday party and it made me so sad to not be able to send one to my dad. I was crying tonight while trying to give the kids a bath because it just makes me sad that he's missing so much. He loved being a grandpa.

Then I was talking to my sister and she was being all witchy to me for no apparent reason and I just lost it. Damn it's been a long week. It's a good thing I can come here for comic relief. You guys are a hoot.

This is exactly why I wish we all lived right near each other in a big town with lots of stores Big Grin I've been going through something very similar with my brother's recent death and I just don't have anything left for other people. Especially people who *should* know/act better. hug

I kinda like my small town, with lots of stores. So far (knock on wood) they are coupon-friendly (except WM, but who needs them?) Probably because it is a big college town, the college kids just don't care.

We will just all have to keep an eye out for coupons that we can stack on top of sale prices for flights to go visit Myluvjustice in Vegas Cheers Big Grin
