And as to noobs being welcomed over here. I popped (not pooped) in here a few weeks ago as a Target noob. I delved in, opened my mouth, and went about my business.
At least the snakes will eat the spiders! I'd rather have a snake than a spider any day!
The brownie pan cracks me up every time I see people looking for it. At our house, it's the inside pieces that are coveted by daughter and me.
Hmm, I don't believe I knew that being a noob over here was supposed to be scary. Someone should have warned us! We could have been hurt. I've been around for a couple years, I'm just not as prolific a poster as some so every once in a while someone who is newer, thinks I'm a noob.
WARNING - Long rambling excited wife story:
We had quite a wonderful blessing in disguise a while back. My husband had an ear infection. Called Oto doc, couldn't get in for 2 weeks, took him to regular GP, got antibiotics, didn't work, went to specialist 2 weeks later.
He has had ear problems and hearing loss since he was a kid. They expected him to end up deaf and started teaching him to read lips. The parts/bones in his ear are all artificial . He was the third (I think) person ever to have that surgery (30+ years ago), so fortunately he does have hearing. Regular hearing aids will not work for him so this has never been an option.
At his appt. the doc trotted out a new kind of hearing aid -- BAHA -- bone attached hearing aid. It bypasses the ear canal and sends the sound directly into the skull. He got to test it by holding it up to his head. OMG! It was the first time ever he could hear anything close to normal.
They implant a titanium post into the skull up behind the ear then the processor snaps onto that. There is a healing period - 6 weeks to 3 months - before he can actually wear the processor. But tomorrow is the day he has the surgery. My husband gets a bolt in his head tomorrow. We are so excited. Think I should start calling him Frank?
Anyway, sorry about the long post, but I am just so excited, I felt the need to babble.
Did a run this morning to get some things including Pledge and Glade since there are so many nice BOGOs out. I don't know at what point, but after a few of them went through, they started ringing up INF and when he K1'd, it said PICK FROM LIST.
Just thought I'd let you all know in case it means anything to you. I'm still trying to figure it all out.
I was wondering how that could be rationalized!
We were almost done with our shopping when my son decides to take a big poop. Poop was all over the front of my wife's shirt and the baby's legs. We might need to move him up a size in diapers.
I found it hilarious but my wife did not. Looks like I'm cooking a special make-up meal tonight.

gt, good luck to your dh tomorrow! It sounds like a long process but will be so worth it.
