she was not seeming so cute and adorable 10 min. ago when I went in to get her a pull-up and put her down for her nap and found that she'd peed her pants again, this time while sitting on her bed...threw her underwear in the trash and seemingly forgot to come tell me
Note to those who think I am horrible: My husband is very mechanically incline and has always worked on stuff. Way back when we were dating, the brakes on my car were squeaking. He told me to tell my Dad that my brakes needed oiled. I did not even stop to consider what he said. He had just ripped the engine out of his car and put in a new one. I just did it. Yeah, that was cute. He is laughing hysterically behind me while my dad is looking at me like I'm nuts. Dad told me sit down and think about that -- and that I wasn't goin' anywhere until I figured it out. Yeah, the two of them thought they were really cute.
Another reaosn why I hate laundry!!! lol Dh ran out to get bread and milk, so it'll be awhile before he gets back, what if the little stinker hides and reproduces?????
Yesterday some HUGE brown & white spotted spider spun a web from my sideview mirror to somewhere on my door panel. I didn't even notice it until I was driving and when I got on the highway, the spider just curled up into a ball and braved the ride. Somewhere at about 70 mph, the web detached from the mirror and I said "Haha!" This morning I got in the car, and out from behind the mirror crawled the little s.o.b. Then, just now I got the mail out of my mailbox and there was another big spider staring me down. I don't know what's up with that but I dropped the mail and ran back inside. I am such a wuss.

WARNING - Long rambling excited wife story:
We had quite a wonderful blessing in disguise a while back. My husband had an ear infection. Called Oto doc, couldn't get in for 2 weeks, took him to regular GP, got antibiotics, didn't work, went to specialist 2 weeks later.
He has had ear problems and hearing loss since he was a kid. They expected him to end up deaf and started teaching him to read lips. The parts/bones in his ear are all artificial . He was the third (I think) person ever to have that surgery (30+ years ago), so fortunately he does have hearing. Regular hearing aids will not work for him so this has never been an option.
At his appt. the doc trotted out a new kind of hearing aid -- BAHA -- bone attached hearing aid. It bypasses the ear canal and sends the sound directly into the skull. He got to test it by holding it up to his head. OMG! It was the first time ever he could hear anything close to normal.
They implant a titanium post into the skull up behind the ear then the processor snaps onto that. There is a healing period - 6 weeks to 3 months - before he can actually wear the processor. But tomorrow is the day he has the surgery. My husband gets a bolt in his head tomorrow. We are so excited. Think I should start calling him Frank?
Anyway, sorry about the long post, but I am just so excited, I felt the need to babble.

Oooo, you are right. Note to self -- no muttering. I did think maybe I would start talking in a Fran The Nanny voice and tell him that I have always sounded like that.

Your DH and Dad sound like mine (and most of my family). One of my dad's favorite things is to tell unsuspecting people that they need "blinker fluid" when the "check engine" light comes on.
Edit (added): My uncle has been hard of hearing since he was a boy, and my Mom and my Aunt (her sister) would always "gab" (as they call it) and start laughing. After awhile you would always hear my uncle say, "I know your talking about me, cause I can see you laughing!"

I was hoping the school stuff (Case-It in particular) would go down today, it's been a week, and school stuff usually goes quicker, but it didn't. I'll have to check at my store tomorrow, since we already have Halloween stuff out, and Athens does not.
I bought some 12pks of Mountain Dew - $2.75 - $1 TQ - $2/4 MQ (mpp in this post, please rep OP), so they are (4) 12pks for $5! Not a bad deal! The MQ didn't scan, but it could be my printer.
I had a new jedi, one I have avoided (profiled) before because she is an older lady, but she was great. She typed the MQs that didn't scan in manually, and K1'd all C9 coupons, and was even concerned about the Colgate adjusting down.
I bought some of the $.88 Colgate today, and for some reason, it didn't beep for me this time, it just auto'd. Last time it beeped and had to be K1'd
I usually give out treat bags for Halloween, since we don't get many kids, so this year they will have toothpaste and toothbrushes in them

I actually typed out a post earlier but never hit sent for some reason. Went to the Dr. earlier. He gave me a prescription comparable to dramamine (sp?) to counteract the dizziness. Told me to stick to complex carb meals for the moment and they are going to do labs to check insulin and peptide (?) levels. He said it's possible I'm reactive hypoglycemic but it's rare.
I took a Dramamine, 2 tylenol, drank a huge jug of OJ, and went to Target. lmao
I will get the amazon codes sent out. I know today is the last day for one of the stackable codes to work. Bare with me!

I used to love amusement park rides. I hit 30 and BAM, they started making me sick. A friend and I were taking our kids to a really small park and I wanted to try one or two rides so we stopped along the way and I got a box of Dramamine. The dose said one or two tablets. Now, I know that if something says "may cause drowsiness" that I am going to sleep. So, I took half of a tablet. My friend spent the afternoon literally getting me just awake enough to move me to the next park bench as the kids went on the rides.
