It sounds like you had a standard target issue, I've had several countless issues were I don't even want to shop at target, you just have to be persistant as jaime said, and never let them win!n when they see you there on regular basis and know your not trying to pull anything shady, it will get better. And everytime you get a survery fill it out with your issues and names of anyone whether they were rude or helpful. I have been doing them and it seems to be working! Hth

I'm still lost on the P&G deal. Maybe I am just lost totally. I thought the 14's weren't our favorite any more, but must confess, I really never tried to fit into that size in the first place. Anyone want to 'Chef Barney Style' me?

Glad the fruit flies are gone! We had a bug problem too last week. I couldn't figure out why because the house was clean, no garbage or poopy diapers inside. Well, I found a pile of cat vomit in the laundry room that was probably the culprit. Disgusting cleaning it up.

I fit much better in 14s now. There is a BOGO Mr. Clean coupon as well as the $ off...I plan on combining the 2. Pray for a TQ.

My little guy prefers to eat food off the floor. WTF is wrong with him? And this kid will eat anything...he ate lemons, tomatoes and mushrooms yesterday. Nono

Cashier profiling has helped me find a couple of cashiers that are usually Q friendly. However, during my last run I was chit chatting with one of them and he implied that next time I should use someone else's lane because they get timed and when I have one TQ and one MQ for each item, plus a few beepers, plus the sobe BOGO that never seem to scan the first time, it hurts the timing numbers-that's how they get evaluated and get more hours on the schedule, etc. Do scanning lots of Qs in one transaction really count against the cashier?

I'm wondering if that's why some of the new TMs freak out when I pull out the Qs and they end up flipping on the light almost immediately. Or why a previously Q-friendly cashier, gets grumpy.

My transaction wasn't even that big:

1 clearance jeans

Was he implying that your time wasn't precious? I don't think so!

I went to a little target a few months back and started to put all of my stuff on the belt. I had maximum 25 total items. No sooner had I put the stuff up about midway through he suspends the transaction.

WTF?

I asked him why he suspended it and he said "I'm timed and it's taking you awhile to get it all up here."

Oh hell to the no.

I got all my shit up there and told him how I didn't appreciate him implying that I'm slow and a waste of his time. I had him call over his manager and I voiced my concern over his cashier's lack of self control with the suspend button. I think the manager was blown away as well and told him to just check me out and quit worrying.

I handed him 1 coupon at a time. I waited for him to scan it and place it in the drawer before I "dug" for the next coupon.

14's fit fantastic here as well. Never thought I'd wish I could wear a 16.

Kids are weird. My 2 year old likes to mix her food with her drink.

I don't think that was his point. He was really nice about it. I think he was just worried about getting dinged. Which if its true, is really unfair to the cashiers. How can they control how many items I buy and which Qs I use.....ok I know some of them try to control that Wink.... but really, I could lose all my jedi's if they really do get penalized/hours cut/etc for ringing up my Qs - especially the ones that need to be K1d.
