I got my immature humor from my dad (who is 61 and still laughs hysterically over fart jokes). Now, it's the equivalent of saying "that's what she said" to almost everything, lol.

I totally want to be a millionaire. (Lol I want to be the rich one)but instead I got dh who is super handy and incredibly lazy. and is the same as your guy,when it comes to technology, big gamer but no clue what makes the thing operate.

I'm thinking about trying to get back into the Big K. I just hate that dirty, dirty place. By the way, if you do MCR there is a $10 K GC up now.

My kid farking loves playdoh. I brought a bunch on vacation with us because I could care less if it gets ground into the carpet here.

My Jedi once told me that they do take into account number of items and if you have coupons on the time thing. But she also ended up leaving to go to Florida State so I'm not sure how smart she is.

I'm with you on dirty K - and mine are always understocked, overpriced, & disorganized.

I take Moon Sand on vacation with us I'm sure the cleaning lady puts a curse on our room.

I'm concerned about this scanning/score thing b/c I always thought it was how many items/things they scanned in the time frame not how long it took me to get to the pay screen (w/o taking into account the q's). I mean, we fly through those q's if I've picked my cashier right but still - if they aren't taking into account all the q scanning he's doing then it would look like it takes me 4-6 minutes to find my gift card every time.

The register times do account for how many items and coupons (to a point), but if you pay with debit/credit machine, it doesn't count payment time, but if you pay with cash or check, it does. Stores get overall scores based on these times, so if the store is lacking in other areas (like call-button response time), the GSTLs will get uptight about these.

So FYI - for your favorite (or least favorite stores). Everything has a score and the store is "graded" on it. The big (usually low score areas) are:

Call Buttons - I ALWAYS look around for a TM before using one of these, the time between when the button is pushed until someone deactivates it, is counted against the store. So, if you really don't like a store, send your kids around to just push them all

TM Availability - this is how many people fill out surveys or guest comment cards and say they weren't asked, "Can I help you find something?" or just helped in general.

Red Cards - Red cards are always a sore spot, there are never enough for the upper management. They instruct us to "look in people's carts and ask how are you paying for this?" Most of us, if not all, don't do that, because as a "guest", I would be very offended if someone did that to me. My reply would be, "Target coupons" But, adversely, if you apply for a RedCard and don't get accepted, the cashier still gets the credit for the red card.

Attachments: "Attachments" are a big deal for electronics. That is what most of their score is based on. An attachment is when you buy an item, for example, a Wii, an attachment is an accessory that goes with that item that is purchased, for example, a wiimote. So, if I buy a Wii, and also get 2 Wiimotes and 2 Nunchucks, that is 4 attachments for that 1 item. Purchases made in Electronics are the only purchases that count for attachments.

I don't think this crap is random! Its very imformative, especially for my stores that behave like there's heads so far up there ass they cannot see the light of day.

About a minute after I last posted in here I hear this screech, thump and then all of this HORRID HORRID TERRIBLE screaming/screeching/yelping....enough to make me jump off the couch, start screaming for my dh the sound was soooooo scary, and spin around and look out the window to see the neighbor's dog pinned under a car in the middle of the street writhing to get out from under it. We are just the dog is OK because it did eventually get out on its own and run off, but now nobody can find it and the owners aren't home. Makes me and feel bad for the dog because they've made it such that he/she can get in and out of their house while they're gone knowing full well that it can jump the fence....and we live on a busy road where car accidents are the norm to boot. Ugh. I don't think I'll ever be able to get that image out of my head.

Oh, that is awful! Our poor fur baby got attacked last weekend. My DH had her in her harness on a leash and 3 pitbull mixes got out of a house they run by every day. One latched on to her hind quarters and wouldn't let go. My DH kept hitting it over the head, fearful that the other 2 would attack while yelling at the owner to get his dogs. Guy comes out, calls the dogs and runs in his house and locks the door! Someone driving by saw it happen and called 911. Fur baby will be OK, aside from the healing puncture mark and shaved spot on her back. Looks so pathetic!

I read your post this a.m., but didn't see a response. Did I miss a fight?
