I have a pdf picture and I would like to put, oh, say 4 of these on one page. I can get it into the Word Doc but my size just isn't quite right. (open pdf, snapshot it, copy, paste -- I haven't zoomed or changed any sizes) It's slightly too big and I can only get three on a page -- there just isn't quite enough height for 4. I have reset my margins literally to 0. It's nearly the width of the page (set for 8.5 x 11 of course).
I know it is because of the size of pic in the pdf when I "snapshot" it but I know there has to be some consistent way to get the size right -- rather than just trial an error by zooming in or out on the page.
(I have searched both here and google. I think there was something here once but I can't find it.)

EDIT: right after posting this I went back to try some more. At the bottom of the pdf I can set it to various sizes. Set at 25% it seems to copy to the word doc at about the right size. 4 of my pictures now fit on a page. Is that it?

Thanks for the ruler tip. It takes me some time to get the right size and sound like this will help.
Verrrry interesting. I was just playing around with another SlickDeal I got, the free Microsoft Office 2010. Really cool program called OneNote. It is now my very, very, very favorite program. Works wonders, and it was FREEEEE!

DH got OneNote on his laptop, but I'm on a Mac and I would love to find a good print to .pdf program that will work. I have plenty of graphics programs to make the mpp after I get the .pdf, it just that initial step. I guess I can just have DH print one for me and then email it to me... hmmm... He'll probably be irritated that I'm making him do some work.

Didn't pay attention to the HyVee comments until late Monday night but still managed to make 3 runs before work, after work and after ds went to bed. Found one store at end of day with very eager manager. Didn't care how many trannys I did as it was the end of the sale. If DH hadn't kept paging to see when I'd come home. I think I would have stayed until midnight or I couldn't see out the windshield for all the cereal. As it was I managed to do it 14 times!!! So again big thanks! Only wish I would have listened sooner. Would have stopped before and after work each day and been able to get another 12-14 deals in over the week. (Don't usually try for multiple tranny's at one time when it limits until the last day)
On the K Toy Q. Haven't quite decided what to think. Took my son & school friend that we commute with by there on way home and let them both use one. Which meant they both kept the toys and none to hold back for stocking stuffers. There were no problems using it. But just not sure how I'd feel or the comments I'd get if I tried it too many times on my own. I've got too sweet a deal with the pet food Q's there right now to rock the boat too much. Still I'd really like to get a few saved back for X-mas and quick B-day invite gift sacks.
On T - Anyone know off hand when the Pepsi deal ended was it today or did it run through the holiday weekend? Never did make it there for any. Oh well.
