I have no excuse for being my size- no kiddos for me. But I've had people ask me how far along I was... EEK!

I was going through pictures of me from HS and my first thought was "I was so skinny", but I remember thinking what a fat cow I was at the time. And now my size goal is just to be back into 'regular' sizes- a 14 sounds perfect to me now!
I think all of us are that way. Before I started losing weight I fit into a size 22 pants SNUG. Now I can fit into a size 14 and I feel better, but I still feel very fat. I've been o/w a big part of my life so I don't think that "fat feeling" will ever go away, even if I get down to a small size. With my body type, and the years of weight, I don't think I will ever be smaller than a size 9. It will be hard enough getting down to that point because I've stopped the 5 Hour energy shots. Frown

Health-wise, I think I've done my body a LOT of good. I used to have high blood pressure but it's gone now.

I wish I could say 4 kids made me this way but I'm a freak of nature. I lose weight (lots of it) when pregnant. Hell, if I could be in pregnant status mode for my life I'd be sittin pretty.

Aint that the truth! Just like me and my ex bff both had are first children About a month apart, after she had her baby she was almost the same weight as before her baby, but she would say but I still got stretch marks and my stomach doesn't look the same. Me on the other hand I had gained 70 pounds during my pregnancy (dumb dr said I need it, she's full of crap) any ways I ended up being 175, before dd I was 125 and happy at that weight, I got back down to 145 which took years (try 3!) Then I got pregnant with ds was up to 190, and after he was born I stopped weighing myself because its just too damn depressing Frown my current weight is unknown ds is 4 and I don't think I've lost anything, I need to get my ass on a scale and see how bad it really is! It sux because my gut is getting bigger, and I think its because I sit for such long hours, I wanna get a mini bike or stair stepper for at my desk so I can at least get some kind of exercise.

does merona make earrings? I saw a bunch on clearance but no time to check brands.

Also, I love those C9 shorts! The longer ones are a little like board shorts, too short to be capris...anyways...I wear them all the time. I must say that we are happy w/ most of the c9 stuff. speaking of, i saw that the c9 toddler fleece zip jackets are on the shelves. they are $14.99 regular price but worth every penny. They are very well made and easy to wash. My boys lived in them last year. $2.50 MQ worked beepless before...although I haven't bought them yet...waiting on a sale laugh out loud
I saw a bunch of accessories on clearance too but couldn't find any brand on them..Dontknow

And I love the cheer shorts, yoga pants by C9..Still havent tried the boyfrnd tees...Will check out the shorts you mentioned gator...

Well thank you very much! Its great to hear all these wonderful comments, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. funny thing is I think it could have been better, but I'm just very critical of myself like that. And one of these days my monkey and jaguar will get better faces laugh out loud before ds was born I did dd room in lavender and then the top half was white and where the colors meet there was a border of pink and purple butterflys,I did use a sponge stamp on those because I wanted them to be uniform. I really enjoy doing rooms for my kids. I can't wait to move to a larger house so I can do there own separate rooms, its really something I enjoy, besides sewing. Those were my two career dreams that just never happened.
OMG!! Can you come to my house... I am NOT good at sewing or drawing... definitely not creative at all... LMAO It looks great!! I do enjoy designing rooms for the kids, however, painting murals.. hmmm not so much LOL

We are looking at a seven bedroom house in the Orlando area (outskirts actually) to buy and all I keep thinking is the designs of the kids rooms LOL

Craziness I tell you....

Sorry I must have missed tm4d post about the mistints, but they are exactly where you said, also sears carriers paint so you may find some there, that's where I scored the 2 gallons of blue for my background. I was unaware they are making people re tint it, but I actually had them do this to a few of my mistints to get brighter colors.
Ltl7 that sounds awesome I was thinking of characters but wasn't sure I could pull them off.

Good luck at the dr. I need to go haven't been since after ds was born!
Dr was fine, and got my flu shot to boot.

That is the BEST part of what I did in my kid's room, there was no real skill involved, since I am creative, but not artistic. It's like a trace and paint by numbers, and we can all do that Smilie It also worked out well, since I could do a few characters at a time, then add more when they became more interested in different shows. I also added some sand texture to some of the rocks, and tried to make different textures for "learning purposes". Also, the craft paint dries pretty quickly, so it only involved keeping the kids out for an hour or two, instead of all day.

I almost wish I wouldn't have painted over it. Right now the room is split down the middle, half pink w/ princess stuff, half red with cars stuff. Of course, now, it is just my DS's room, so he wants me to paint Mario stuff. I just haven't had the motivation. I hate rolling paint on walls!

You guys talking about it has made me a little more motivated. Maybe I will get to it in the next month or so.

I will also try to find a pic of the closet. I used some tape and drywall stuff (the stuff in the bucket that's wet that you use for seams) and made realistic looking bricks. It's the only thing left of his old room (can't really paint over it).

I never did get ANY C9 that I actually wanted for myself (other than socks). I wanted some capris/workout pants and kept telling myself that I would pay full price...but still can't pull the trigger.

How stupid is it that I won't buy myself workout clothes until I've already lost weight?

I know what you mean! After my DD was born, I lost 50 lbs in 6 months. I'm allergic to lettuce, and a very picky eater, so no salads. Lots of special K, chicken breasts, and fat-free cheese. I also spent 30-40 mins a day just walking up and down our steps. Even at 115 lbs (I'm 5'6") I felt FAT! I never got below an 8 (6 in some generous pants).

Of course, I gained it back. I need to get back on the treadmill (after I unbury it from the mountain of clothes) Wink I have a "shelf" thing I rigged up so I can use my laptop while on the treadmill. I won several of the Guitar Hero 5 / DJ Hero for Christmas gifts last year from MCR that way.

You were in NO way fat!! Don't worry about your weight to much... I am a perfectiontist (SP) when it comes up to my weight and such... after having kids.. I am somewhere in the 135ish weight range and I feel BIG!! But I am 5'4 ish and normally very thin... not sure tho... I need to exercise more but feel like I have no extra time... 8 kids, school, work, home stuff... hmm can I extend the day!?! LOL

Thank you, I know then I wasn't fat, but I felt it, even at that weight. I'm not that weight any more, it's been 4 years (I stayed down to that weight for over 2 years), but now at least I am proportionate Big Grin

Is it sad when I saved more on my last receipt (which was a run-thru, "can you pick up this before you come home", but had to grab some more C9 before they go away) than my entire 2 week paycheck is EEK!

Proof that I just work at T for the discount (and to get out of the house for a few hours every week). laugh out loud

5'6" and 115 is not fat...I am 5'3" and 130..I was 110 before kids..Wish I can drop these 20 lbs..probably if I spent less time on the net and more time exercising..

LTL7 I will trade you bodies I would LUV to be a size 8 again, I currently wear an undisclosed size right now, just add a 1 in front of your ridiculously skinny 8. I'd be so happy to even be a 10!

And I dig how you added texture to your kids room, that thought never even crossed my mind.

And Meesh you don't have to be artistic to do a great kids room these days there are so many easy alternatives, like decals and adhesive murals, or sponge/stamps or stencils. All you need is a idea! The possibilities are endless. I say pic a theme or color and build from there, and I envie your 7 bedroom house! We need to desperately upgrade into something larger.

Ok for the record none of you are Allowed to consider yourselves fat at 115 pounds or at 130 pounds, or any size under 10! Its just not fair Crying

And yes do you sense the jealousy.

And OMG Meesh, your 130 pounds with 8 kids like seriously?
