I would be interested in a weight loss support group too.

Would I get kicked out if I mentioned I did the Oreo/milk promo at Target?? Blush2 Rofl2

I officially started Christmas shopping today. I found those Sing-a-ma-jigs and let me tell you, they're so ugly, they're cute, lmao! They sound so funny.

Found dh a C9 navy blue polo/golf (?) shirt, that silky material, not the cotton material. Clearance to $4.98, so free after C9 Q. My cashier was a mean old man, who kept sighing as I handed over coupons. After the last one, he said "are you sure you're done now?" I hope he forgets his car windows open, on a day we have record rainfall, and then his car doesn't start. Underweather Bleh

I don't mind doing the diet thing here either. I have a short attention span, so I probably wouldn't go to other groups either. Heck, I rarely go to Deals or Publix anymore.

Here are some things that worked for me last time:
I didn't have any special "diet" plan, I just substituted fat-free for most things.

Keep a food diary, it really helps. When you see that the Coke you just drank equates to 20-30 mins on the treadmill, it makes you think twice about picking it up. I made a simple, small notebook, that I put time, what it was, and the amount of calories and fat grams. I didn't worry about anything else.

Tips: Get some Fat-Free Cheese, Pam, and Spray Butter Also keep a measuring cup handy for cereal and other items, so you can easily control your portions.

I'm not a "cereal" person, but I would eat 1c. Regular Special K (all the other kinds have fat in them), with 1/2 c. raisins in it, and Skim Milk. It was under 200 cal. and no fat. This was my usual breakfast.

Another breakfast thing: Simply Potatoes Hashbrowns (I liked the Southwest Kind) & Egg Beaters w/ Fat Free Cheddar. All fat-free, and low calories, if you use cooking spray to grease the pans with. I still have this for breakfast, I put it all in a glad ware container, with a little bit of bacon bits, and heat it up and eat it on the way to work. Much cheaper and healthier than the Jimmy Dean Bowls.

Lunch was usually a fat-free pita shell with some low fat Ham & Fat-Free cheese. Maybe some fruit. Again, I am allergic to lettuce, so salads aren't an option for me. Fat Free hotdogs, also a great thing.

Supper was trickier. I was cooking for 7 people at the time, so if I made a casserole or pizza, I would make it mostly low-fat. I would section one part off, and use ground chicken instead of beef, and/or fat-free cheese, stuff like that. Rest of the family still had a normal meal (well, except for low-fat for fat-free cream soups, ricotta cheese, sour cream, stuff that's easy to substitute) and I would have my low-fat version.

Here are some desserts I had:
Fat Free Jello w/ fruit added. I love creamsicles (the drink and the popcicles), so Orange Jello w/ Mandarin Oranges, with Fat- Free cool whip! drool It was something ridiculously low in calories (like 30 or something) and fat-free.
Orange slices dipped in Fat-Free chocolate pudding
Any Fat-Free pudding w/ fat-free cool whip
Take 2 Chocolate Graham crackers, put fat-free cool wihp in the middle, freeze them, and you have a low-fat ice cream sandwich!
Fat-Free frozen yogurt or sherbet

Possibilities are endless. I didn't have to starve myself.

The main key is to diet and EXERCISE! I started doing 10 mins up and down the stairs. Added a few mins more every few days. Eventually added weights for my "bat flaps", as my oldest DS like to call them Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) . It's not so bad if you listen to music and start small. Just make sure you have some upbeat music so you tend to step faster.

A pedometer is also a great thing, that helps. It helps to set small goals and go from there.

Geez, I need to start all this again. I don't want to be 115 again, I missed my boobs too much at that weight, but maybe drop about 40 lbs so I'm in the 130's again would be nice!

I did WM today (for convenience only- 5 mins away vs 20 for T) and as I was walking out, I got stopped and they asked to look in my bags and at my receipt. They apparently thought that, between self checkout, reusable bags and me not bagging things (like TP), I was super suspicious. Apparently, I look like I would steal a freaking 4 pack of Charmin. Farktards.

Oh, while I'm thinking of it, any good deals on TP anywhere lately? I didn't have the time or energy to look for Qs before I left.

I keep telling myself that if I get this damn weight off that my reward will be a boob reduction if I can get the insurance to cover most of it.

Ok, so shall we start off here and if we want to move later we can? And by here, does that mean right in this thread or we start another thread? I kind of think we should take it out of here for the sake of those not interested.

OMG - ME TOO!

I'm 41 this month and keep wondering if it is a waste, but darn I'm sick of carrying these jugs around. I was down to 150's from the 250's at one point but have slowly crept back up to 200. I swear if I get back down to even the 170's I'm doing it this time.

I am making good headway on Christmas shopping...I like to have it done close to Black Friday time so I can have myself a good old time shopping for whatever on Black Friday.

I got my free Gain tonight Big Grin I only go for it when I have other stuff to get there too.

Oh wow! That is something. Is this all because of that tropical storm?? The weathermen on our local news keep saying that this system will eventually affect us up here in IA (kind of hard to believe but it happens occasionally.) Wonder what we will see with it.

Yep. Alot of people from the thread formed a group and they have the target qs.
Rofl2 I know she didn't mean it this way, but it sounds like we are the magic keepers of all TQs. I repped her for giving me a laugh.

I love this ability to quote from other threads. That's really nice. It may have always been there, but I just found it.

Ok, can somebody let me in on the Free Gain at WM. I need to see if it is worth my while to go there. Also, wouldn't mind a PM on the deal with the Mr. Clean. I think I may understand it, but not sure. TIA.
