I e-mailed T Corp. about a bad coupon experience (said I copied my black and white coupons since I had b/w and color, not willing to adjust down, etc.) and they e-mailed me back their coupon policy. Head Bang. No apology, nothing. Frown

Regarding the drama in the deals thread, I don't think most of you were around for the Juicy Juice War of 2007 [I think it was 2007, maybe 2008]. The thread had to be shut down several times a day, over several days.

It was nasty.

Rotten night with Mavis again. Poor baby is just having a rough go with the congestion at night time. Frown I am sooo going to need a nap today.

Sorry to hear Mavis is still congested I hope she's better soon!

As for the AC we leave it at 78, supposedly that's the more energy efficient temp, but its hard to tell when they keep raising the rates on us. We couLd trade bills ours was $410 last month!

Wave

We have our house a/c turned off. Our unit is not efficient enough to cool the house. We use a portable a/c unit instead.

I have to run to Target at lunch to pick up some teething toys for the baby. Hoping for some good clearance

I got this mental image of your wife saying "oh honey, we are out of shampoo." and you jumping up yelling "I'll go", grabbing the keys, and hauling ass out of the driveway in 10 seconds. laugh out loud

I love that you love target. heart

Greetings all! Some of you might remember me, I was a regular for years and still am, but went back to work and don't get on as much as I used to. Man...it has cut into my addiction of coupon shopping!

But, today...I'm ready. I'm changing into my jeans, cutting out of work early and I'm on the clearance c9 socks hunt.

I lucked out last night at our Target - got 5 bracelets and some charms for like 16cents each. Super cool. Do I need them - no. Did I get them - yes. Am I happy about it - yes! They were "repackage" tagged - I love the repackage clearance finds. Sometimes they are great - sometimes I question how they think they'll sell that obviously used item for only 15% off the original price. Random.

Anyhoooo - hello all and happy Targeting today!woot

OB bills are starting to come in! Yikes... we're up to almost $1500 after insurance. Thank goodness for some insurance. I wish I understood how they calculate deductibles/co-insurance, etc... Never seems quite right to me. Confused

Not to discourage you from T'ing... but one of the best "teether's" for my kids was a wash cloth that had been dampened and put in the freezer. My kids loved these the best.

Yes, it was a serious question. Might have to do the decal idea (I have blinds, but pull them up halfway because they end up playing with & ruining them otherwise).

My other cat is older and this is the first younger cat I've adopted- not used to them being so active and adventurous! It worries me sometimes, I really don't want them to get hurt!

stuypey kitty... he might, not realize it's glass as some one else has said.
Is he an indoor outdoor cat he might want to go out. Kitty just get nutso sometimes especially the young ones.

My cat;s "door" is thru the downstairs window he sits there and crys until I let him in or out won't come through the real door.
I have always had a cat ,this one is going on thirteen and he still has these
"kitty gone wild" moments usually around 11:00 pm and starts chasing . stalking imaginary (dust bunnies ) ?? somethings in the house really gets nuts and agitated , he freaks me out sometimes.

You found one that wasn't in this thread??

I feel like I spend all of my time here anymore!

Hey LTL7, I don't think you regularly work pricing right now but you wouldn't happen to know if there will be a big infant/toddler clothing markdown one of these Mondays? It just seems like there is a TON of stuff that has been marked down in that section for like a month and it should be going way low soon....but I didn't know if clothing had one big markdown day like some of the other depts.??
I know this last Monday the pricing team pulled quite a few people to help with pricing. I wasn't 1 of them, since I am still on my ETL (logistic) poop list, but I know they pulled 3 people to help. We have tons of infant clearance at our store, but we are also a A-1 clearance store, which means things rotate faster and we have more clearance.

*snip* Since then, my husband lost his job of 18 years when his company shut down. It's been very, very hard, but I do whatever I can to save money with Qs. I hope I can be active here and figure out what the HECK T has done with their dumb system since the upgrades. I am so frustrated with the continual problems of not getting credited the correct amounts on my MQs, or completely missing MQs altogether. Never had these kinds of problems before the upgrade, so I REALLY hope they get their act together!

PS - If anyone is willing to help me find the TQs again, that would be so great! I lost a bunch of the downloads I had on my computer and of course, going through my history from the last month on my PC will take a long time to find the google links again. I do understand, however, if you prefer to wait until I am a regular. I don't want to be labeled a "beggar".
Welcome! Was your DH at GM? I'm originally from the Janesville area, and had a lot of family that worked at GM Frown Luckily, they have all landed on their feet, but it is hard.

If you need a list of current TQs available, PM me your email address. I may know someone who can help you with that.

I must be the odd one out on the teacher/parent responsibility of supplies.

I buy stuff or get it free with coupons and give it to the teachers all year long.
I do too. Around here, teachers have not gotten raises, and have been forced to take "furlough" days (days off not paid for). A lot of teachers have been forced to retire early because of budget cuts. My husbands BFF's wife is an art teacher at a public elementary school.

I also try to help thru-out the year. Last year I was unable to, but this year I can. The "official" lists that we got over the summer included many things that were like "huh?" When we went for Open House, the teacher's gave us the list of what they actually need, and it was about 1/10 of the original lists. Just pencils, paper, and erasers.

We just went to a curriculum night though, and my DD's teacher asked if parents could donate some Band Aids, Tissues, Lysol Wipes, and some Snacks. I sent in some Dora Band Aids, Kleenex, Lysol Wipes (sale from Publix), and 50pk box of MP Fruit Snacks. Big Grin

She's "dinosaur special" laugh out loud j/k I agree, she probably doesn't understand that the window is there. My cats do weird things. They sit at the window and "chatter" at birds. One of them eats EVERYTHING!! I'm talking paper, plastic, anything! She also likes to steal my DD's headbands and carries them around endlessly in her mouth. It is different for us too, since our 1st cat, basically stays on the bed and is very laid back!

Morning everyone! My DD made sure I was awake to enjoy the sunrise over the ocean on morning number 1. Why is it my child does not sleep well at all when traveling? She was exhausted last night and I still didn't get her down until 1:30 am. She is such a creature of habit.
I'm still the same way. I have never slept well in anything but my own bed.
Are you in Myrtle Beach? Just wondering if you found a good place to stay?

*snip* Our electric bill was $230!!! We didn't even have the air on *that* low - never lower than 74! It's at 78 now. Amazing what that 4 degrees does - $100 difference.
I'll trade you, ours was $527 last month! And almost $500 ea month for the two months prior! We have a house that is well insulated, less than 10 years old, keep it warmer, have energy saver bulbs, everything we can to save. I had to call GA Power for a problem with something else, and one of the recordings while I was on hold was justifying why "your power bill may be higher than normal". Record heat and their "summer rate" was their excuse. I think it is more of the 2nd, than the first.

One of my co-workers lives by himself in a single-wide trailer and his was almost $300.

Makes me want to find a SD on Solar Panels! Since my DH is so obsessed with Tesla and electricity right now, I could nudge him that way (has to be his idea). I tried a few years ago to get him into decorating the outside of the house for Christmas. Getting a card for the computer so he could program the lights to music. All things that are in his interests. He'd have no part of it, I think mainly because it was my idea Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

We had a cat that would do that. We also had a dog that would bark at certain areas (corners) of the house at certain times of the night. I always said they were chasing ghosts. laugh out loud
