I confess, I got towels a few runs back. I got 8 of them. I did 4 in one line, DH did the other 4 in another line.

Somone mentioned coupons beeping after 3 and something about a system update. I will say that this happened to us. MQ were scanning fine and then all of a sudden INF. I was using the shout coupons, save $2.00/2 and some lean cusine coupons. Cashier just K1'd everything.

Good mail day yesterday. I got my free mini grill from P&G and got a schick rebate. Also got a $10..0 check from my insurance company, apparently I overpaid on one of my co-payments. Almost fainted..couldn't believe that they caught that AND mailed me a refund to boot.

Oh and for the official record..I'm not fat, i'm fluffy.

Folks say it's too hard to do the links too. Well, sherlock, you were the one that went and copied it from another site, so IMO, it should be you that works on all the links. So many of the grocery ads at SD never get matchups done, because the folks there don't want to spend the time to do it (and TRUST me, it IS work) or they work like a dog in a thread for months and no one bothers to help (sorry... got carried away there) .

Teach them to fish He!l, they want to just be fed! open mouth, drop in worm, chew, swallow. Scratchhead I think I've posted that in deals over the last few months. . . . yep related to Dazzled cereal dealio.

Yeah, I mean we hear that a lot on the printable thread too that it's hard to make those links. I get that, but man after doing one, it's so just so easy!! Smilie

And that must suck on the grocery one, TN. nod And I have always been of the mindset of please teach me to fish so I don't have to bug you for something. I WANNA know how to do it!

EEK! on the AC's!! I think our bill ran around $250ish last month and we keep ours between 74-76 during the day and occasionally as low as 72 at night - otherwise I will toss and turn all night. And our AC is old and inefficient and half of our windows still need to be replaced. And I might add that is probably the highest I've seen since living here for an August; they don't normally run that high.

Really?? P&G is the one I loyally cut right when it comes out - only the ones I anticipate possibly using. The others I just do when I have time but clip out the ones that I know are hot.

This is kind of my theory too....I know around here one of them was asking for Ziplocs but *not* the slider ones. Well, hello, when I can get hundreds of boxes of the sliders at Hy-Vee once or twice a year and they are going to pay me to take them that is what I am sending with my kid. It's probably good I don't have one in school yet LMAO I understand they have reasoning behind why they request certain things but still.....I have reasoning on why that might not be the best too Big Grin

You have ever right to say that. You, JD, and Efelicity work so hard on the Publix thread worship . I'm not there much anymore, but I do try to add when I can. Although, I went to P yesterday for the first time in a week (since posting about the Glade Seasonal display) and all I could find was 1 lonely Glade can in with the clearance stuff (it wasn't clearance, just stuck there). Some of our lists around here do that. For instance, my DD's list wanted a 24pk of Crayola Twistables. Well, those are $5 pack, when I was getting free regular packs at Kroger. She got a regular pack. What are they going to do, send it back, tell her she can't color with the rest of the kids? As my DD likes to tell my DS, "You get what you get, and you don't pitch a fit!"

I cut and file all the coupons in all the inserts with the recent exception of the P&G. I correlate all the pages, then staple each coupon, then cut them out, then file them. It's sounds like more work than it is -- if I have 10 of each insert and there are 2 inserts in a week, it takes me maybe 20 minutes to do them. If I have 20 of each it takes me maybe 5 minutes more. A couple times a month I pull the expireds.

I still correlate the P&G pages -- that way if I want something, they are all together already and I am not fumbling through 10 inserts, I just don't cut and file those anymore.

I used to use a brief case but recently downsized to a plastic storage box. Two sets of index cards A - Z -- one side is food, the other side is "not food". The box is smaller and easier to manage but I have admit, at times I miss the briefcase -- it had extra space for sale ads, pens, paper clips, scissors, phone, car keys -- leave purse in car.

Yep. You sure do have rights. They have no right to stop you at all, even if the beeper/buzzer/shoplifter alarm goes off. The only person who can detain you is an actual police officer. Exceptions to this are places like BJs and Costco where it is probably in your membership contract with them that they need to check your receipt before you leave the store. There is actually a website/blog where this guy writes about his stories just walking past the greeter guy, particularly at W. DH loves, loves, loves that site. I'll see if he can send me the site so I can post it for you guys. I never stop anymore after reading about how they have no right to stop you. If they ask I just wave and say, "no thanks" and keep walking. I'm sure they think I'm a shoplifter because I always have 2 kids, the diaper bag, a ton of reusable bags, sometimes a return I need to do. I'm a hot mess when I'm out shopping! laugh out loud

You can link the page before the print page -- kwim? Usually you go the website and it says something like "Click Here to Get Your Coupon", link that page instead.
