I have never been to Charleston, and wish we had more time to do a little sightseeing along the way. I love those kind of laid back trips..
I love being on the beach, but am already missing my bed and a good night's sleep. My toddler slept in the crib until 6 am again and then into our bed. DH said last night that I could get some sleep and he would move if she got in our bed tonight.. but. as you can see that didn't happen.. once again, mom gets no sleep.. Atleast mom went to target yesterday so I can actually have coffee this morning
Hmm... I think I have that 10% off your registry q still, and I *did* put a car seat or two on it.
Though... not having the car seats now means I have to shop after DH gets home - at which time HE can have some Daddy/toddler time!
*I am not condoning using this many TQs at once, just trying to help with a way to afford extra carseat.

Still had to share my own vent. We are getting ready to have the house painted by some workers from my office in their off hours. Had to stop at the bank last night and pick up $1K cash to give them to buy paint/supplies etc. When I got home I found DH had parked at end of drive way with no room for me so I parked on the street even though I don't like to. Plus he calls me just as I'm pulling in with his usual whine about "Where am I?"
So what do I do? I forget to bring the cash in the house and leave it inside the armrest where I'd put it when I stopped at the grocery. And OFCOURSE I woke up this morning to find that my car had been broke into for the first time in my life. UHGHHH!!!
I think in the rush to get into the house I also forgot to hide the Tom Tom (T-clearance) and that is what probably got my car targeted. In the end they got:
- $1035 cash (I'm still so ticked I was such an idiot for leaving this in their)
- Tom Tom GPS
- Blue Tooth
- Prescription Sun-Glasses (Love to see them try to use those I'm friggin' blind)
- $72 worth of the HyVee $6 certs for buying Cereal (GRRRR I was going to use them last night but decided to stop somewhere else)
- $45 worth of Wags RR's
- Several T Gift Cards (around $200)
- 7 Target & K-Mart Bags containing: C9, Toothbrushes, Costume Jewelry, Dog Food, etc...)
Oddly they left behind a paycheck I forgot to deposit.
Found out window is covered by car insurance and contents by homeowners insurance so two different deductibles to meet. Window too low to meet deductible so $189 more out of pocket. Contents still not sure as $1K deductible with a max reimbursement of $200 for cash. They aren't sure though if they can apply the $1K cash towards the deductible nor do they know how to handle the Gift Cards, Cats, & RR's.
on another subject (or back to the one I missed last night), T does have Banana costumes for Men and infants in the store.
I finally got one of the ETLs to do something about the "Old Man" (Hitler) mask today. We have to leave it on the floor, but she is sending it up to "My Support" to have them review the product, so hopefully it will be pulled from the stores.
I finally caught up, will post my deals in a little bit, going to change out of my red & khaki and go to town and get something for supper (and maybe a quick pop into T while I am there).
off to take a closer look at the body fat scale at brookstone's b/c i have store credit from returning a couple corporate xmas gifts we would never use. also 20 off 100 coupon is expiring today. current bathroom scale is lighter by at least 10lbs. i'm sure they'll have more coupons later for xmas if i can't make up my mind.

regarding doing the group elsewhere, i'm having a tough time getting off slickdeals. i have 500 unopened mostly ads in my yahoo inbox. for a little while i followed moneysavingmom.com and totallytarget.com but it's just not happening. the only 2 i am really dedicated to are slickdeals and hcw for my supermarket every wk b/c no ST here. so, i would if i could, but the reality is i don't think it will happen.
what if we did the stuff we didn't want to share w/ the whole world by pm? if i am going to reply to a pm, i always do so w/in 2 days or so. can we do pm groups? i'm finding the pm set-up rather primitive.

I promise I won't beg for anything or TOTALLY post stuff taken from elsewhere. Constantly. Am I the only one that is annoyed by TT posts? I mean, once in a while might be ok but several times a day? Every. Stinkin'. Day.
Even though I haven't been officially welcomed I'll give a quick recap of my trip today.
Shot down on the bath q's, which I knew I would be as soon as I was forced to go through Attila the Hun's line. She & I have an understanding, I understand she doesn't like me & she understand's I don't like her. It was either her or the 10 items or less line & I didn't have 10 items or less. But that's ok, I'll try again. I'm no quitter. I got me some dang toilet paper though, I showed her!
Pair of ugly white men's C9 running pants free after q & I think I got the last pair of clearance C9 socks. Oh & I got toothbrushes since they finally restocked & it helps that love2bamom is in MB eliminating some of my toothbrush competition
Guess that's it. Gonna go get ready for date night with the hubby (who is disappointed I didn't get in on the durex house party).

I've seen banana costumes for men and babies, I'm pretty sure they sale them at target!
And why couldn't target have picked a better color then red, lol it seems to make people angry.
In the meantime.... I have two banana cream pies chilling in the fridge... and I had to pay full price for the bananas at WalMart last night.
I started my boneless ribs in the pressure cooker and didn't have it locked down tightly so it's been cooking, but not pressure cooking.
I am trying to get myself enthused about starting my damn diet on Monday. Yeah, yeah, it's a trap "I'll start on Monday" - how many times has that phrase been uttered? I know it but, dammit, I'll start on Monday. In the meantime, I am trying to clear some tempting full of carbs crap food out of this house. I don't know how that Milky Way Bar ended up in the bag with the bananas.
Ok, so how many of you that want to do the diet thing together haven't officially started dieting yet? How does Monday work for ya? IT doesn't work at all for me, but I'm not gonna lose weight if I don't start.
Umm, yeah, I know the pies weren't here until a couple hours ago but hubby asked for them ever so nicely. I guess I'll have to help get it eatten and out of here by Monday too.
