DH is out of town tonight and I want to cook something really awesome. He's picky about what he eats, so I want to make something I know he wouldn't like anyways. laugh out loud

Give me suggestions! I'm not afraid to spend an hour or two preparing a good meal. I love almost all kinds of vegetables, but I have some issues with meat. I don't like too much pasta or potatoes, but I'm OK with rice (in small quantities).

Any ideas? look around

I'm a boring protein guy. Read up in Mal's thread for details on how boring.

For vegetable choices, asparagus is a great if you can find fresh. Artichokes are also an excellent choice but it may be harder to good ones fresh depending on where you live.

I also just love using fresh broccoli but I am probably in the minority there.

Have you been following any of ForeverDcember food related posts? She's always making such mouth-watering things!!
