Sorry...it's been a while since I've used mine. I think I made a pumpkin cheesecake last Christmas and it's been dormant since then.
I'm going to search Food Network's website for a video of someone making a cheesecake in a springform pan and see how they do it.

This will sound bizarre. My husband says I'm thinking of something else I made that I flipped. He says he was very interested in the springform pan, because of the latch, and he paid careful attention, and I did not flip it, because the cheesecake was golden on the top.
So, I think I must not clearly remember. It was Christmas. I was in a bit of a haze/drunken stupor/shopping frenzy.
I know I've flipped it before, so maybe I'm thinking of something else I made in it, but he says definitely not the cheesecake, which sounds right, because otherwise, how would it get that golden top. He's right. No flip for cheesecake.
My bad.

We work for the same company. He happened to be around at that moment, but we do have internal-office chat. I could ask him if I wanted to. I'd like to think I wouldn't bother him about something as trivial as a springform pan, but I can safely say we've bothered each other at the office about far more trivial issues.
It depends. He works on a different floor, so there can be times when I don't see him at all. Once, I forgot he worked here (early on) and when I saw him on a different floor, I actually said, "What are you doing here?"
He said, "I work here?"
Me: Oh yeah...right.
Recently, we've started to have lunch together every day, so we do see each other every day and we ride to work and home together, but that's kind of all.
Plus, I don't come into this office every day, so I'm only in the same building about 3 days a week.
It's not as weird as you think.
Having said that, it really drives me crazy when he tells me things about the office, or my coworkers as if it's breaking news. I'm in HR. I KNOW...

I am wearing a lovely black cape, today.

i'm gonna try it out on Sunday and bring it to work Monday, see what everyone thinks
I was gonna take a picture but it was nowhere near as pretty as FD's noms
Mahi
Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a medium skillet on medium high heat.
Pat dry Mahi filet and lightly flour on each side. Melt 1 tbsp of butter and brush on each side. Season lightly with garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper and then place in the hot skillet. Cook 5 minutes each side.
Farro
Cook 3 parts water to 1 part farro with a pinch of kosher salt for 15 minutes. It should have a creamy almost riosto like texture when complete. 1 cup of farro with 3 cups water will serve 4 generous portions.
i think these refried black beans are my new favorite thing to make. so easy, so good, and pretty healthy too!
