Oh, I made Orange Glazed Chicken Wings for a pot luck at work yesterday. They came out pretty damn good IMO. I used a recipe from alton brown (my food hero)

I love Alton Brown as well. Were these difficult to make?

I didn't pay attention to how he cooked the wings. I just salted, peppered, and put them in the oven for about 30-35 minutes.

The sauce was easy. All ingredients together and reduced down.

I made that recipe at 4x and it worked out well. You'd think that theyd be pretty spicy with the crushed red pepper, but it's actually just a light spice on the background that compliments the orange nicely.

You'll have to share a link to that recipe. Love me some edamame.

I made it once, but my attempt was a disaster. I didn't follow a recipe. I just guessed.

Um...

I was wrong.

Roasted Edamame Salad [foodnetwork.com]

I make a few modifications though, just for personal preference (and ease of cooking).

I use frozen white corn kernels (he suggests fresh corn). I also use frozen edamame, so it works out just fine.

I nix the scallions, preferring instead to use finely chopped red onion. I just don't like scallions as much as other kinds of onions.

I use Roma tomatoes that I have seeded and chopped up, so it's just tomato and not all those yucky slimy tomato innards. laugh out loud

I use a little more red wine vinegar than he suggests, just because I like the tang.

OK, so far I know that I shouldn't trust SK when it comes to cheesecake AND hummus.

Duly noted.
