not deep fried, but thats what you get for rubbing the chicken in olive oil and herb mix.

i stuff mine uusally with lemon quarters/bayleaf/peppercorns.

idont do edible stuffing...i prefer well cooked chicken than worry about stuffing

but, to be honest, i never had good stuffing...it's notsomething anyone ever cooked for me, nor I have tried.

If I feel frisky, I'll put some quartered potatoes, mushrooms, and onions on the side... Smilie

it's my favorite thanksgiving side. good stuffing isn't all the difficult to make. you can get some nice results even cheating and using the boxed stuff at the store coupled with a few embellishments. and you can always cook it separately if you're concerned with chicken not cooking properly with it filled. laugh out loud

when I cook for myself, I try to limit # of things I make. Just 2-3 very well done is much better than 5-6 1/2 assed.
