And 9/11 I was 3 weeks away from my due date with dd, I remember waking uop with false labor pains, sitting down in the living room, tv was already on the first tower was smoking and then the second plane hit and I got this sheer terrified feeling. Then I remember seeing people falling from tower 1? I was thinking why are they falling that's when I realized they were jumping.

I have the worst time when pregnant. Each pregnancy I've had Hyperemisis Gravidarum or for the medically challenged, excessive vomiting that leads to dramatic weight loss and dehydration. Luckily I was only hospitalized with one pregnancy (my first) and all others after that I self medicated at home. Took Zofran with all of my pregnancies frm 6 weeks until between 20 and 22 weeks. Even though it stops me from puking I'm still nauseated 24/7.

I hate hate hate feeling nauseated but hate more to throw up.
Me too - it's a freaking wonder I ever had any more after the first one hug The OB I have this time tried to tell me that I shouldn't need the Zofran anymore after 16 weeks. I wanted to punch her in the face. She made me go all weekend before she would refill my script. Thank God I had some Phenergan stashed away or I'd a driven to her house. Reaper

This is my favorite thing to do. What is your favorite thing to throw away??? Mine is stuffed animals. It gives me such satisfaction!!! Roll
My fav thing down here is DH's stupid hunting catalogs/papers/sales flyers/credit card inserts. Drives me up a wall. Upstairs, it's all the kids' school papers & freebie trinkets that they were keeping for posterity? I would heart throwing away stuffed animals but they cry when they realize they're gone. I'm more Cruella Deville than Martha Stewart, but, even I can't handle all the fuss. Probably since I can't drink while pregnant.

Ok so I just caught up again!

Teri so sorry to hear about your mom that must have been very difficult.Grouphug

As for football dh could care less, we do watch the super bowl.

As for throwing things away dh is like yes get rid of everything its mil who will take something out of the trash after I've tossed it, so I do it when she's not here or I hide it in the trash, preferably under kitchen trash that's stinky! and we watch hoarders and it usually gets me up cleaning! We are running out of space just too many people in this one house, my kids need there own rooms and that will help a lot, there closet is already bursting at the seams. Hopefully we will be moving within the next two years! And to a better state as well.

Annoyed

Annoyed

I meet my paper guy on Sundays at 3:00 promptly. I've only been late once and called to tell him I was gonna be late and got there 4 minutes late. It's 28 miles one way from where I live to where I meet him. He calls today at 2:45 to tell me he has no papers. Thanks (note the sarcasm please). I was less than 10 miles from the meeting spot. Paperless again. Three weeks ago I got a whole 7 papers total (and only because I dumpster dove for them). Papers from 8/29, I'm swimming in those (need a trade?) because I dumpster dove for them. Now nothing again Sadwalk

Maybe I shouldn't have a paper guy and just dumpster dive?

PITA that it is, I would continue to do both. I have a gas station that gives me their leftovers, I dumpster dive, and I used to have a newspaper lady.

What I get from the gas station varies as does dumpster diving. I usually got a lot of papers from my paper lady, they were a week behind, but not usually a big deal.

I was getting so many from the paper lady that I almost gave up my gas station. She decided to up and move to Arizona. The NERVE! But, I still have my gas station. And the dumpsters.

I'm pretty luck about those though. Ours are those big about 15' long with 4 doors recycle bins and they specify what goes in each. So, it's newspapers and cardboard. Oh, yeah, did I mention there are FOUR of them! Some weeks it's a gold mine, some weeks it's the shaft.

Mine too. They see the Target bags laying around in every episode and think the show applies to me. The only reason any Target bags are laying around is because I can't get to my shelves to put the stuff away because their crap is in the way.

I hope he gets to come home! Keeping my fingers crossed. I know the feeling of being in the hospital with someone...in June my DH was in the hospital (kidney issues), his father suffered a stroke and my mother was in a terrible accident. This all happened within 1 day of each other. I was devistated. Not even sure how I made it through really. I was traveling back and forth to different hospitals and states. I had to make a determination of who was more stable and where could I go next. My DH ended up being OK. His father is home getting better and my mom didn't make it. She went into a coma and then multiple organ failure.
So sorry to hear that, it must have been hard! hug

Man, I thought i was feeling good when I left the house but felt 10 times BETTER when I left Target. Got some towels, washclothes, socks (Wink), cheese, some glade, Tide, etc. Saved $181. Woot!

Teri, I hope your son feels betters soon.

Is the diet group going to be on here or elsewhere?
I felt worse after I left T. It ended up $.79 oop, only paid tax, and I really don't like to do that. Frown

It's probably on TT, or copied and pasted into our Deals thread by now, but since I don't go to TT, and hardly ever go to Deals...
Glade Tough Odor Carpet Powder $1.99 (normal price)
-$.75/1 MQ (not sure what insert, but exp. 9-25-10)
-$1/1 TQ for Glade Tough Odor products
=$.25/ea and it's beepless!

I bought 4, since I sprinkle this stuff in the cat litter box in between changes to freshen it up a bit. It's much cheaper than the "litter box deodorizer" crap.

There's something weirdly compelling about that show. I just want to know why all hoarders are pigs. I would like to see one neatly organized and labeled hoarder.

Oh, wait....

Does the diet group not get email updates? If I don't get emails, I forget about it.
At the top there is a "subscribe" to the thread, you can click that and it tell it you want "instant email" updates.

Ick.

Double ick.

Next BF needs to not care about sports nod
My DH could care less about sports, he doesn't even watch the Super Bowl, we DVR it, fast forward thru the game and watch the commercials.

Yes, choose "instant email update"

There must be several of us who have kids around the same age. I was up with my DS, who was born in May (but I was due in July) when that happened.

I got my exercise today. When we got home, the neighbors dog was out of their fence (happens a lot). So my DD tried to put him back, and only succeeded in letting the other dog out. So we spent the next 45 mins chasing them around 2 different neighborhoods. We never did catch them, but once we gave up and came home, they followed us all the way back.

Before we left, my DH and I were talking about trips, and he suggested that we take a winter cruise around Jan or Feb. woot He even said it in front of the kids, so he can't take it back. Now I have a good reason to give everyone C9 summer clothes! laugh out loud

Hey, I got a jump start on tomorrow. I exercised. I took the dog for a short walk. To the gas station. Where I bought Smarties and Chocolate Donettes. They were frozen. I couldn't stop myself. I had to eat them before they thawed.
