Tried one of those AF frozen pizzas today and it wasn't half-bad compared to some of the frozen ones! I didn't think the calories were too bad either if you stuck to a couple pieces. I was good. I didn't really go out with a bang last week when I started eating better....just finished up a few not-as-healthy things we had in the house so I wouldn't be tempted this week
On the topic of getting rid of stuff....dh has actually started hiding things from me. They will have sat around for months, years, etc. not being used --- we are talking old, old stuff....an oil lamp, an old microwave, stuff that was just generally covered in grime and grossness that we did not need in our house. I'd ask him to get rid of it, he'd hem and haw around, pretty soon I'd get
He had a feather pillow that was past its prime once....and one day I went to get the Dryel bag and it was FULL of feathers! Whaaa?! He was keeping them 'because they were good feathers' and he was going to make another pillow
(Just need to add, he is kidding, doesn't give a shit about my weight and has never ever said one word about and truly doesn't care. Course, he could stand a lose a few too!) Oh yeah, and do you know what else he did? He asked for PEAS.
Anyway, for supper I even though I didn't have any boneless pork chops in the freezer I did dig out the center cut bone in chops and cut the bone off, pounded them out -- yes, I was pounding the pork -- breaded and fried them. So, I did get my tenderloin after all. Along with some clearance Jalapeno Poppers from, you guessed it, Target.
The down side is, that I am actually kind of sick to my stomach and was before supper so it put a damper on it. I think it was the bag of doughnuts and Smarties.
I need an invite for the diet club too
We had a great trip, but I am glad to be home in my bed tonight..

I meet my paper guy on Sundays at 3:00 promptly. I've only been late once and called to tell him I was gonna be late and got there 4 minutes late. It's 28 miles one way from where I live to where I meet him. He calls today at 2:45 to tell me he has no papers. Thanks (note the sarcasm please). I was less than 10 miles from the meeting spot. Paperless again. Three weeks ago I got a whole 7 papers total (and only because I dumpster dove for them). Papers from 8/29, I'm swimming in those (need a trade?) because I dumpster dove for them. Now nothing again
Maybe I shouldn't have a paper guy and just dumpster dive?
Finally home for a small hospital break. Gathering up some laundry to do and have pizza crust going in the bread machine. Going to make 2 tonight and take some back to DS for dinner. One with gr. beef, pepperoni onions and peppers and a bacon chicken ranch
I use my mom's recipe for pizza dough, and it really isn't that difficult and its so yummy. Nothing beats homemade pizza.
It's probably on TT, or copied and pasted into our Deals thread by now, but since I don't go to TT, and hardly ever go to Deals...

And my last dinner was Papa John's pizza. Not free anymore, but still yummy. And ... I'm about to go polish off some of the Starbucks ice cream that's calling my name! Maybe I'll sit on the couch with hubby as he watches the Redskins/Cowboys game. He's hoping the Skins can do well this year so those of us who live in the area can hold our heads high.

Dog went crazy the other night in the outside utility shed that is part of my back porch. She saw a mouse/rat I don't know which but I immediately knew it had to be one or the other because I had a couple bags of dog food stored in there. It's up off the ground so I didn't think I would have to worry but darned varmit found a way in
Did a little T trip today. Got a bronze shelf, don't know why. Suave, Glade, 2 month Bounce bar which apparently is not part of the GC promo. Saw the de-humidifiers marked down to 50%. Think that's all.
Watching Big Brother, they just had a commercial for the 2nd season of Undercover Boss. How are they going to be able to do a 2nd season? I gotta tell ya, if someone came into my place of work saying they wanted to learn about the company or whatever & had a big ole camera crew with them...... I think I would be just a wheeeeee bit susupicious.

There was one night a friend and I had been working her house -- painting and wall papering like crazy. We needed another gallon of paint and I don't think WM was open 24 hours at that time. We literally grabbed our purses and jumped in the van. We were 20 minutes into a 45 minute drive when one of us actually LOOKED at the other. OMG - stained paint covered sweats and t-shirts, our hair was sticking out everywhere and had paint in it. We were both dirty. Not just a little snudge, but PIG DIRTY. Yeah, we would have ended up on POW.

i absolutely love pizza
i've been making french bread pizza for lunch once or twice/wk w/ the bakery tq. shredded lowfat mozzarella and diced fresh tomato. wish they had whole wheat demi-loaves. dh tolerates whole wheat bread b/c i told him he eats it only on the wknd, i eat the rest of the loaf so i get to pick what bread we eat. but if i could get whole wheat white he'd rather eat that.
peas are very high in fiber. one serving is like a third of the rda. if you eat more peas, you don't have to take fiber supplements like my bff does. you are so much better off getting it in your diet. laxatives and fiber supplements can get very expensive and she owns her own pharmacy. on top of that, she told me the citrucel isn't working anymore. she gets headaches and gets incapacitated when she gets constipated. which happens more often than it should b/c she has a horrible diet of processed, frozen and convenience food. when she eats healthy she doesn't have problems. which i wish she would b/c it's annoying discuss the subject every few wks when she knows what the solution is. who wants to keep talking about constipation all the time, sigh! it's not like we live in a senior home yet.
