thanks. that was the first post that came up when i clicked unviewed. i quoted it in the deals thread to make sure everybody knew about the mq mpp's not being allowed either.

probably. i turn loaf ends into croutons b/c otherwise i don't like to eat them and throw them away. also much healthier and cheaper than buying croutons. dh would rather buy croutons.

i really like the minute maid juice bars. even the grape i just ate was good. too bad they have hfcs.

Ok ladies... you guys are making me feel guilty... I made some homemade Chicken Parm with homemade sauce smothered in fresh mozzarella cheese and parm cheese.. YUMMY... only ate a small bowl.. LOL I love to cook..

why is my house not quiet and it is around midnight? Why oh why? kids lol

Ank I have so much dumb knowledge about animals... I think I can identify some weird ones... Wink LOL

I wish that was so for DH but he honestly doesn't care what I look like. Which I guess should be good but I kinda think he likes that I'm not skinny anymore as he is extremely jealous, so for him its easier for me to be at this weight. I just want to put something on look in the mirror and go wow I look pretty good. I don't need to be as skinny as I was I just want to look leaner! I think my boggest struggle is going to be getting rid of soda, since I drink a lot of it!


So for dinner I had a t-bone, baked potatoe, french bread, noodles, salad and bok choi.it was all delicious, I didn't have a whole steak me and dh splitted it. I'm not afraid of veggies I like them a lot,its getting rid of potatos that will be hard and pastas.

That part will be easy for me. I don't really like candy stuff, and I'm not big on cake. Well, I like cake but can't do the frosting. I hate pasta unless it's whole wheat. (taste factor, not health factor) I rarely eat steak. I like potatoes but I can do without them.

My issue is eating things that are quick and easy and that means I eat the not-so-healthy things. I loooove fruits and veggies.

Why am I fat?

I won't lie I enjoy my potatoes and pasta! But I eat a lot of veggies etc, my biggest issue is my soda intake I can easily drink a 6pk of coke or pepdi a day. Plus 2-3 cups of coffee, so I'm going to cut back on the soda and hopefully eliminate it all together. I'm not sure how easy this will be as I need the caffeine! I'm not willing to cut out my coffee but I will try to drink only one cup versus 2-3. A lot of the filipino food we cook is full of veggies, but the rice will have to go or get measured to a very small portion? I'm not exactly sure, because some of these dishes have to have Rice, maynbe I could learn to like brown rice?

And I know why I'm fat I snax while I work, usually on junk because its fast to grab and I don't take more then a 20 min break in a 10 hour day. Another factor is that I sit for 10 hours a day.

Exercising is going to be an interesting challenge.

I don't really care for cake, not really a big carb eater , my weakness is ice cream no bowl, just the carton and a spoon.

Husband has been on a crazy diet eats the same thing almost everyday.
I have stopped cooking and just grab "whatever"

My eating habits have turned to shit.

To be honest don't like most vegatables, but do love salads , of couse only the kind with crappy lettuce (iceberg). Has no nutritional value.

Hubby is very sedentary , thus I have become also.
Really I think he is physically lzy.

I don't recreate any more and it shows.
So now it's exercise which I hate , used to burn it off having fun.

i think we should all keep a food journal/diary. if you want to, can post what you ate in the group thread. i think if we lay it out and look at what we ate and in what size portions, we will have a better understanding of what the problems are and what we need to do moving forward.

i'm sure some of us will know the calorie cts better and can open our eyes as to what is really doing us in. if you post, people could make suggestions as to lower carb substitutions and you(general) can try it and see if it works for you.

i'll throw a tip out there to get started. if you are eating a creamy salad dressing, have it in a little container on the side and dip the tines of your fork into it b4 you use it to pick up some salad. you will get the flavor of the salad dressing but use way less. it takes a little getting used to but you will be shocked how much less dressing you eat compared to pouring it on your salad. you can save 50-100 calories or more easily. this way you can eat whatever dressing you want, but so much less of it.

and i know my biggest problem is not enough exercise. so i vow to go for a walk tomorrow, at least 45 minutes. i should be able to manage 2-3x/wk easily now the weather is cooler.
