Congratulations, I see a road trip to Texas in the near future. Plenty of us in the south can caravan that way, probably would need to rent a UHaul for the ride home though. laugh out loud

For all my Hy-Vee peeps: FREEEEEEE cat litter Friday and Saturday!!!!!! I posted details in the Hy-Vee thread! We need it too. Now if our cat will cooperate with this cat litter and not decide that she needs to poo elsewhere. I think I will sneak it in on her gradually. We are almost out of litter anyway so perfect!!
Sweet! Thanks!.... Now, if anyone can give me some hints on how to get some free or cheap dry cat food, I would be set!! (We have an inside cat and also a couple of outside cats and strays that I like to feed heavily in the winter, since it is so sad to see them out in the cold.)

This will help you if you have an 'off the diet' day. I read somewhere where WW had done a study that people who splurged on calories one day, but got back on the next actually lost more weight than remaining on their diet all the time. Something about shaking up their metabolism

I totally believe this, and lived it. Of course, it was AGES ago for me, but during my college years, (18-21) I would come home for summer break, and instead of gaining the standard "Freshman 15", I always gained the "Partying 30". So, I ate very light for 6 days, and on the 7th day, I ate anything I wanted. Pancakes or waffles in the morning, steak and potatoes, cookies, etc..... I would only weigh myself on that morning before eating, and every summer I would lose the 30 pounds. Again, being younger is definitely a factor, and I did exercise, plus I lived on a dairy farm, so there wasn't a lot of sitting around. But, I certainly wasn't working myself to death either.

I would say I get 90% of mine from clearances, particularly Target. They just had some on clearance - Iams I think?? We have waaaaaaaaaaay too much and I didn't find it as cheap this go around so I passed. I also got a bunch when Kmart used to double a lot better (higher quantity, more $$$) and I think we still have some leftover from that. Goodlife Recipe would put out $2 off q's and doubled that would be $4 off. Kmart's rules kinda stink now so I don't really shop there much anymore....I'm sure there are some good deals still.

Downy. They are 7.99 and 5 dollar GC wyb 2. There's 1.50/1 MQ and 1.50/1 TQ (inserts, may be regional) So 4.98 for two after coupons and GC's. These are the larger size bottles too, not the little bitty ones. The yellow cap smells sooooooooooo good.

The interview was actually simple. I was interviews twice and then introduced to the HR woman and she completed my paperwork. I then signed everything and took a drug test. I don't have orientation until the 28th (don't know why it's 2 weeks out) but that's okay. Gives me time to organize my garage and clean up my house. laugh out loud

I've been so excited all day. I even celebrated by doing a quick run at a close store to stock up on cleaning supplies and dog food. Evil

So there's a deal on dog food, too? The local shelter is desperate for donations, all of the families that have been evacuated because of the wild fires are dropping their pets off without food!

I thought I would mention it, in case you haven't heard but, Walmart has Philadelphia Cream Cheese on Rollback for $1. (So FREE if you have the $5 off 5 coupon.) I am not sure if this is the same everywhere, but chances are good.

With all the bakers in here, I didn't want to let anyone miss out on their cheesecake at a reasonable price! Big Grin
