I am so sick and tired of the updating. I never know what to expect.
Orientation is the 28th. I did my drug test today and they are doing the background check. I don't understand why Orientation is so far out but whatev. Gives me time to beat the other stores.
Discount comes off after TQs, but before MQs and K1'd TQs.
So, for example, you buy:
4 Glade Sense and Spray $6.49/ea = $25.96
- (4) $3/1 TQs = $13.96 <--TM discount applies to this much
-(4) $3/1 MQs = $1.96
- TM Discount ($1.40) = $.56 for 4!
(4) C9 Socks @ $6.00/ea = $24.00 <---TM Discount applies to this much
- (4) $5 C9 TQs K1'd (I know, expired, but using this for example) =$4.00
- TM Disc. $2.40 = $1.60 / 4
As you could see, getting several towels or clearance bath stuff that needs to be K1'd can get you some serious overage w/ the TM discount. So just use the force wisely!
Also, in case they didn't tell you, the TM Discount is only valid with a payment cash, check, giftcard, or Red Card. You can't use a Debit or Credit card with it (unless they are Red Cards). It is also against the rules to put money on a gift card, then turn around and use it for a payment to get your discount. Some people are spitefull enough to pull the receipts and get people fired for it too. I use my debit card to get cash, then use cash right now, but plan on getting a Red Debit card soon, before Oct. 17th.

I had the great fortune of working opening shift of BF (which was my 2nd time cashiering, first was training) and closing shift of Christmas Eve.
I did get up early and go to Old Navy, but the Lego Rockbands were already gone. Good thing is, you can "trade" shifts if you want, and they usually provide meals for most holidays. On BF, we had lunch boxes from FireHouse subs, and on Christmas Eve we had Chik-Fil-A.

HT is worth it if you have at least two cards to work with (this is assuming you have to drive a ways - if its fairly close, then its worth it even with just one card). Limit of 20 coupons will multiply per day, and this is register enforced, no way to get around it. I haven't gotten a complete list of the freebies this time around, but with the IPs currently out there, the GM deal looks like a great deal, especially with the current cats going on.
