I am exhausted..OK I meant to post this in the diet thread but I am too lazy to look..I am following this diet for a week..

BREAKFAST:
1-2 eggs prepared poached, boiled, or microwaved, or in a non-stick skillet using NO oils, butter, or any other additives.
You may add spinach, tomato, and/or onion to your eggs.
1 grapefruit, any size or color. (FRESH, not canned or juiced)

LUNCH:
2 eggs prepared as above
Salad including unlimited amounts of lettuce, tomato, spinach, onions... no dressing or salt allowed this time, try pepper or lemon juice.

SNACK:
1/2-1 grapefruit or a SMALL orange.

DINNER:
Salad as listed above with up to 1.5 tablespoons of dressing... any kind
1 serving (about 3 oz.) of lean RED meat
1 slice of whole wheat or multi-grain bread OR 7 wheat crackers

DAY 1: FOLLOW ABOVE PLAN EXACTLY
DAY 2: FOLLOW ABOVE PLAN EXACTLY
DAY 3: FOLLOW ABOVE PLAN and add 1 Fruit salad at any time of the day including your choice of: any berries, grapes, and any melons. You may eat up to a LARGE bowl's worth, but eat it ALL in one sitting.
DAY 4: FOLLOW ABOVE PLAN EXACTLY
DAY 5: FOLLOW ABOVE PLAN and add one more serving of fruit (as in the suggested serving size... about a hand full) at any time of the day

Maybe they were just helping you clean it out Coverlaugh I dump my purse out weekly and weed it down to necessities - wallet and coupons laugh out loud

Flugette sorry to hear your little ones not feeling well too, looks like its that time of the year again.


Jaime, if I woke up to that heads would Roll the kids know not to touch my purse ever! Especially my coupons (unless of course I ask them too Wink )

I forgot to mention 2 snax that I like rice cakes, and beef jerky.
I have a dehydrater so I may need to make my own jerky the store bought has a lot of sodium. Ang gotta watch the carbs for the rice cakes they are higher then I expected.

At least she didn't spill the water in your purse/on the coupons!

I am definitely feeling overwhelmed. I have some inserts that folks gave me from church but I haven't cut out yet, I have a mound of clean laundry in my room that's not hung/folded, and several mounds of dirty clothes that need cleaning (and I have no laundry detergent.) Ugh. On top of that, I want to go shopping.

Not sure how you do yours but when I need to get mine done and keep procrastinating I do it in stages.
1. Correlate the pages -- if I have 10 inserts and each insert has 12 pages, I have 12 stacks with 10 pages in each.
2. Staple the coupons. Each and every one of them. Whack, whack, whack!
3. Cut the coupons out (this is easy to do sitting on your arse). As I cut I toss "food" in one pile "not food" in another since that's how I file.
4. File

Assuming I get 10 of each insert and there are 2 inserts, it takes 20 minutes-ish.

Jaime - don't ya just love it when they do stuff like that?! dd's current annoying behavior is scaling the furniture when I am out of the room to get to things that I don't want her to have, make messes, etc. Annoyed

Advice: dd got a bug bite on her eyelid Tues. evening....by Weds. morning it was quite swollen...by Weds. even it was even more swollen...and by this AM it was nearly swollen shut. I am absolutely positive it isn't pink eye or the like - she gets bitten by bugs all the time on her head, especially around her temples and eyes and they welt up like that. By 24 hrs. later they are usually at their biggest and then they start going down, so this one has been a bit different but not much.

Dr appt. or no Dr. appt., that's the question?? I just don't know if there is anything anyone can really do for it. I am going to give her benadryl at naptime and bedtime tonight to see if that helps, otherwise I need to decide by tomorrow AM what to do if it isn't better. My mom says this used to happen to my bro. all the time when he was a kid and it'll go down after awhile. Scratchchin We're not big bug spray users but I've even tried that to no avail. We did get OFF clip-ons on clearance yesterday to try.

I'd definitely try the benadryl and see if it helps. If it's not better by tomorrow, even a tiny bit, I'd take her to the doctor. Like you said though, there's probably not much they will do. Does she rub or scratch it?

I got the OFF clipons earlier this summer and put one on my son when he rides his bike. It seems to have worked. We didn't get mosquito's bad here at my house but when I visited a friend in Ft. Worth, we were almost eaten alive.

Ank, glad to hear mavis is a little better! Don't worry about being a little behind u just had a new baby. Things will get done in time. I would just do it little by little as u feel up to it.

Do you have any of those beandryl itch sticks ,applied topically might help.
As long as she doesn't have anything ozzing, it's probably a bite.Try a little bit of baking soda made into a paste on a washcloth ,if you don't have an itch stick.

I think those off clip ons work..hard to tell but I'm not getting bit and I like you don't have to put a chemical on your skin.

You and me are in the same boat!! I just got 25+ inserts this morning, my laundry is getting ridiculous, my house is out of control... But one thing at a time, that's all we can do. I stayed home this morning with the intention of cleaning my house, mailing out school pictures, collating coupons, etc. I got 5 pictures addressed and mailed (both dh and I have very large extended families, so everyone's getting a picture, even if its just a thumbnail size Big Grin), the inserts pulled from the plastic, and puzzles sorted. That's it. Oh, and I called my mom. Which is important. She now has an empty nest since the youngest is now at college. First time in almost 40 years she hasn't had a child living at home. I think she's enjoying it a little too much...
