Sick It is scary how many crazy people there are in the world. Have you all seen the movie The Strangers? DO NOT watch if DH is going out of town or anything. It was kinda slow to start but is based on a true story. In the end they ask why they picked them and the killers said "Because you were home."
I have seen that movie..It was creepy...

Ok, fess up. Do any of you have the Flirty Girls exercise DVD? Daughter and I think it looks like it might be kind of fun. I don't have a stripper pole but there are some metal posts on the back patio. On the other hand, there is the "chair dancing" exercises. My living room has a 10' picture window that faces the street. No curtains, I like sunshine. That ought to get the neighbors talking.

I've been watching so clips on You Tube. I think I would need illustrated instructions for some of those moves.
I don't have these DVD but now you have got me curious..I am sure DH will enjoy my exercising routine Rofl2

Exercise or diet
Both. Don't they say the first week you lose water weight? I am happy, don't get me wrong, but I think the next few weeks will be "real weight".
Way to go jilly

I can't imagine that in any state you can't use a coupon with food stamps. If there is concern about how they attach, then just buy all the food separately.
...
I think it is crazy too. I've never qualified for assistance. Always too "rich" to qualify & too "poor" to comfortably make ends meet.

But the two employees at Wags that day insisted it was true. One said she use to live in Wisconsin and that they allowed it there but not here in KS.

Though I think they may have been talking strictly about WIC benefits where I was talking about any government food assitance. Maybe there is a difference.

I did look up the WIC info for KS and it clearly states approved & non-approved items must be on separate transactions but has NO mention of coupon usage being prohibited like they claimed.

Ugh, what a pain. And, I'm sure you two aren't the only coupon shoppers there. That's a pretty good size area. I used to be close friends to someone who sometimes drives from an hour away to shop there. PM me that post.

If you know ahead of time what you are going to want, you might try asking the manager to order it for you. I have heard that other Walgreens shoppers say that has worked well for them.

I've had good luck having HyVee get me stuff too, but it hasn't been in advance of these types of "Hot Deals". If you know soon enough, I'll bet they would though -- especially where you are, if one says no, ask another. If I can't get as many as I want and there is no limit, I get a raincheck, then they order them for me.
I've also had the occasional success with a manager both at Wags and my local grocery store letting me "Pre-buy" the item during the sale and then pick it up once it arrives after the sale is over. That way I'm not clearing any shelves. They usually would keep a photo copy of the receipt for themselves and I would have the mgr write a note on my receipt stating that I hadn't got the item. Then when I picked it up I would show them the receipt and have them sign it again to show I had picked it up.

Doing this I was able to buy 200+ bottles of Purex from Wags earlier this year when it was BOGO with a BOGO Q and 100+ bags of Sugar from Grocery Store with the Koolaid/Sugar Q while Koolaid was on sale 20/$1. And without wiping any shelves clean.
(FYI - kept some, donated some and sold some to cover time/expense)

Just take up this exercise routine. It sounds like then you won't need a blow dryer.

tootsie - The best deal I get on K-cups is at Kohl's. Wait until they're on sale for $9.99 (happens every few weeks) and use a $5 email signup coupon, and any other discounts you may have. They also take the extra 10-15% off for these on the days that home electronics gets that extra discount. That's how I keep in stock on my K-cups.

You also might want to order 4 boxes of 24 direct from Keurig. There is an old thread here with a warranty code that gets you free shipping and a good discount, it comes to about $25 for 96 K-cups. I *think* that offer is still in effect.

About flavors, I have the Donut Shop, but it's too mild for me. It's ok, but I prefer a bit stronger, so not sure my recommendations would fit you. I love the Tully's Kona, I consider it mild, but it's good for the smaller size brew. Emeril's Bold is also good, but might be too bold for you. It's fun to test out the flavors, and I ♥♥♥ my Keurig!

I can't stand the Green Mountain Kcups at all... they all have a plasticy taste to them Dontknow

My current favorite is Caribou Daybreak - but that might be because they were on clearance at T and I loaded up laugh out loud
cheap does add to the taste somewhat laugh out loud I had seen them on clearance a while back but kept going because I didn't own the machine at the time Facepalm

Donut Shop is my faaaaaaave basic one. Gloria Jean's Butter Toffee is my fave flavored one!

Best deal on Donut Shop I've found is to order the 50-pk. from Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Coffee-Peop...806&sr=8-1

Sometimes they will go down to $19-$20, then you get the 15% off with subscribe and save....last time I ordered it was $15-$16 for a 50-pk....the only other better deal per k-cup I've seen is when you order from the Keurig site with code WARRANTY....and this thread describes that whole process: https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1998608 ....still working as far as I could tell Smilie HTH!
thanks! I'll keep an eye out for the S&S offers. I need a carosel as well for all these damn k-cups. I'll watch amazon and have one primed over Wink

thanks Cate~ Whee I forgot all about those darn $5 Qs. I need to hit the 'bay for more. They are 9.99 this week too. Can you stack a $5 with the 30% code for this week? Might could get my carosel at K as well Scratchchin

I like my coffee on the mild side. I want it to have enough caffeine to kick a mule's ass, but the flavor has to stay mild Girly Evil

You're very welcome, and I see I skimmed over your earlier post about ordering direct from Keurig, that is a great deal!

I also have that chrome carousel on my counter and love it. I like to keep it full of different varieties. DH likes a very bold coffee, so I buy some fun blends for him to try out. I tried the Chai Tea and Hot Chocolates too, they are ok on a cold day, but not that great.

I think we should find this person and invite him to join our weight loss group. And maybe someone can hook him up with some C9... that fits.

Well, did a run today and darn $5 MQ beeped something to the affect of "Invalid amount, check coupon and then accept if ok"
But as M2C reported, my $8 Disney q went through fine. So, I have no idea. Had a weird issue with my Glade bogo's. First 3 went through fine. 4th and 5th beeped INF but no "picking" screen came up. So when he K1d it, it just said Manu -0.00. then last 2 went through and auto'd fine.

Totally does not make sense to me, so if anyone has any insight I would love to be enlightened.

Other than that, not much else to report other than some cute reusable small bags for .74 hanging on an endcap in the food section. Really cute for gift bags and they come in 3 different designs.
