What does that nonsense have anything to do with go team go .
For them to kick this child off the team just shows me how far decency has declined.
I feel olllld.

I can definitely identify with the mother in that I would not want my 6-yr-old daughter doing that, which is a personal choice. But I also don't think the middle of the season is the point to question the coaches in a sport/industry that it kind of known for being more provocative like this....this is one reason I am hesitant to even have my dd involved in cheer at some point. And then on the other hand I'm not sure why the people in charge of the program don't just say "fine, we'll nix the cheer for this year and clarify our rules for next year" or something of the like. Or let the child be able to choose to sit out for that cheer or something. Surely there had to be a better solution than kicking her off the team?!
And *what* do the words to that cheer have to do with cheering on a football team???

I think they were just ticked that they were challanged on this.

As a parent, I probably would have told them how inappropriate I felt it was and if they didn't change it, I'd pull my daughter out. They wouldn't have to kick her out, her ass would be gone.
