I did just go to the website and register my keriug so I got the buy two get two free pluse 10% extra and free shipping so it came out to 26 cents a cup. I can handle that, I think

oh Ank. I just wanna hug you momma! I've had days like that. Actually many many days like that. I think you handled it pretty damn good and that was very nice of them to come over and help you out. Most people would just sit there and stare. It's not always sunshine and rainbows in parenting land. Kids throw fits and it's all you can do to keep your shit together long enough to get through checkout.

I went to T. Used coupons. Had a cat scanner. Left - and it wasn't because of T!

I have never felt so embarrassed and even scared in my life. My toddler chose to melt down and throw the WORST tantrum I've seen out of ANYONE EVER. I had the baby in her carrier in the front of the cart, and I put my toddler in the basket. We get to the checkout, and she wants to play with the card machine, grab things, etc... She won't sit down, tries to climb out of the cart, and even tries to pitch herself out headfirst. I tell her several times to sit down. She refuses. I swat her behind (just one of those taps to remind 'em kind), and she still won't listen - and of course, by now she's screaming. Baby has woke up and is crying. I've got baby in my arms, toddler screeching, cashier scanning items like he's got 4 years to do it in. (grr)

I take the carrier off the cart and set it in front, put baby in it, and grab my toddler and wrestle her into the front were I can buckle her. At this point, there's a red and a security guard standing nearby and I'm terrified they're going to call the cops on me because her screaming and the swat I gave her! 2 other reds come out of the office and come over to us and start talking to DD - give her stickers, etc... to try to calm her down. By then, she'd been strapped in and still trying to climb out and there's not much I can do because of holding the crying baby. She stops screaming at the top of her lungs, but it still ain't pretty and she gives them the stink-eye with an occasional howl.

I was probably not in line as long as it felt, but I didn't know what to do at that point. My kids have never done that before. I was mortified and felt like crying as much as the girls were. I probably should've left or something, but I had cold stuff and it *was* a small order. Not much fits in the basket with a 3 y.o.!

Man, I feel like I so have to be : now... I am definitely not under the radar in any way, shape, or form now!

I don't have insurance either and my trip consisted of an IV that was never use and me laying in the bed. Noone came in but the dr. once and lab once. No nurses. Noone said a word. That bill was 3,050.00. When I left she said they'd knock it down to 350 if I paid it right then. DH gave them a dollar and we left.

Yeah, I'll be fine. Mixed prescription meds with OTC and then caffeine pills to stay awake, then sleeping pills later...wasn't a good combination and my body just couldn't take it. Was having a hard time breathing and since I had a pulmonary embolism before that felt just like that, it was better to be safe than sorry. Took me longer to convince them I wasn't trying to OD than it was for them to convince me I wasn't dying

They sent in a psychiatrist. I told them, listen, I'm not claiming to be the epitome of mental health, but I didn't try to kill myself with 7 pills

Not looking forward to the bill. No insurance

You should be VERY proud of yourself. That is awesome. I'm excited to weigh in tomorrow. I'm sure I'm not down that much, but I've been so so so good this week with my points. As long as down a little and not up I'll be happy. I've proven that I can stick with it for a full week and not be hungry.

Okay.. you guys talked up the keurig so much the last few days that I started really wanting one. I mentioned to DH that I may save up some swagbucks and get one.. or look for a target deal. He tried to get me to buy one, but I refused.. cause I am too cheap.
So, what did he do... He went out and bought me one today.. Said he wanted it to be my birthday present cause he hadn't gotten me one yet. It was 109.00 and he used his 35.00 GC to help pay. It was sweet of him, but I was kinda bummed cause I am pretty sure they will have a deal on them by holiday time.. Now, I just looked in the ad for tomorrow and they are all on sale 20% off. He should be able to do a price adjustment without taking it back, right? I can't wait to try it

Was aggravated at target tonight.. Cashier selection was not good, and this store is not good about beepers. The GSTL was a pain last time I used the c9 coupon.. So, I didn't get any more towels or bath stuff As a matter of fact, all I bought was a ton of stuff from the 1.00 spot. It was tagged as 50% but scanned at 75%. My DH got a media shelf thing.. Everything else I found that folks had mentioned getting on sale, were much higher here. I scanned the toy boxes and they were still at 50%, the eddie bauer canopy thing was still 50% and no cheap power wheels that others found either. Atleast my DH knows what to look for now so he can scan some stuff at the target near his work.

I am excited to see that charmin is on sale this week at target.. Need to rebuild my TP stockpile and it had gotten up over 10.00 a pack here.

I checked the OS tonight.. The swagger kind was 2.99, the green kind was 3.99, the high endurance was 3.99 and the double packs were 7.xx. I didn't get any, but hope to get some tomorrow!


My MIL wanted to take my DD shopping today for her 16th bday. She insisted I go along to celebrate my bday too.. I told my hubby that fighting the toddler all day while shopping for my other DD was not my idea of a fun day. And it was so hot here! 93 degrees I thought fall was supposed to be here this week.. Bring on the cooler temps

Did a quick run to T today. DS was with me and nagging the whole time he wanted to go home. Didn't find Dollar spot on any clearance much less 75% Found a few clearanced bath items to put in cart with a few towels and some clearanced glue sticks the teacher was asking for a couple weeks ago. But then chickened out at register and told her I didn't want the towels before she even scanned my first item. Too chicken here I guess.

I completely empathize. Recently monkey toddler spent 10 minutes screaming that I needed to stop hurting his penis. At the top of his very loud soprano toddler voice. And of course the transaction took forever, cashier had to call GSTL because she was unsure of coupons, had to go to CS because a few things rang up the wrong price. I must have been quite a spectical, dragging one kid screaming about wanting Lego and another that was yelling about his penis.
