Now I am on week nine for work. I lost 16 pounds. That does not average to 2 pounds a week, I look at it as good though.My personal goal each week is too lose one tenth of a pound or more. As long as the scale goes down and not up. I consider it a GREAT week. My signature states my goal 20 in 20 weeks.

ank - I'm sorry about the meltdown. hug I always feel bad for moms when I see something like that. I feel like I should whip a can of playdoh or some fruit snacks out of my purse to give to the kid, but then I think that the parent will think I'm some sort of psycho kidnapper.

Weigh In: I'm up .2 this week and I am mother farking pissed. I have been so so so good and I can't believe I'm up. Makes me want to eat a pie. I'm hoping I'm just retaining a bunch of water from being on my feet and running around all day. Damn, it sucks. Sadwalk

I got brave and signed up last week. I figure 5% savings, might be worth it. The only thing was the 'bright' supervisor told me is that it takes a few days for the debit to show up on your bank account. I call her 'bright' because she told me I could only ever use one target coupon in my whole life.

I think you've done a great job and .2 is nothing. Do you weigh with clothes on? When I do, I weight 2 lbs heavier. Insane.

Yes. Once at T my DD was in the basket part and she stood up to move something so she could change her position. (When she stood up I was going really slow) Next thing I know some rude team member was yelling across the kids section for me to "make your kid sit" VERY embarrassing. I could understand if she had walked closer and asked me if my child could sit. But to yell it across the section and tell me to make her sit really pissed me off.

I weigh in my pjs. But I always weigh wearing the same thing. The baby got a hold of the scale this week and was pushing it around the bedroom. I'm going to just say that she threw off the calibration and that's why I was up. I think it will make me feel better to just blame the kid. Wink

when i see a kid crying and a mum in distress over it (happens all.the.time in stores), I always fish out my keys from my purse and jingle them in front of the toddlers/babies. never fails. and since it's a stranger doing it, it's a novelty demanding attention. the kid begins playing with the keys, the mother checks out/picks out things from shelf etc, crisis postponed. and they always smile and say thank you.

ank, hug don't feel mortified, or try not to. anyone that has kids, or nieces/nephews, or godkids, or has babysat (i think we're covering more than 98% of the adult population here) instinctively understands that kids have meltdowns at inconvenient times and there is nothing you can do about it.
