I gave in..... I admit it.... I ACTUALLY got on the scale (not as bad as I thought it would be, but still within 8 lbs of the highest I've ever been) and walked for 25 minutes today (where's the sweating, fanning smiley?) I have more to lose than most (if not all) of you or two or three of you combined weigh.

May have to do with 3 things.
1- guy that I've always admired Girly from the other building came to see me when I emailed him a travel claim question (he travels, I normally don't). We used to go to lunch or dinner occasionally, but it always seemed that I was the one asking, and I want him to ask once in awhile
2- You ladies are all supporting each other with posts
3- the worship service I watched this morning (which happens to be the church that the guy in #1 attends) had a sermon (was given last week) about marriage, and how you need to love yourself before anyone else can love you. I hate myself right now.

I don't guarantee anything. I'm tired of being tired, kwim?
hug Great you got on the scale a 25 min walk to start is a really good good beginning.Eyelash Gotta make that guy sit up and noitce LOL
Just a tip start parking as far form doors as possible ..little extra walk built in.
Maybe you could just post % of weight you want to lose and percent acheived if that makes you more comfortable.. not here to judge

Do you have any recommendations for where to get a good deal on Frontline (whatever kind the vet gives out for $20 a pop)? I never thought I'd have to look for dog deals :
I usually get it from Amazon or drugstore.com after much comparison shopping. ,, bathing your Dawg in Dawn really helps also.

Ltl7 hope dd is better soon and its not pneumonia! :

So I bought a scale, I had weight myself in the store on one last week : and I thought it was off and I was right it was off a little but not in my favor: this is definitely the heaviest I've been in my life and its depressing. It gets worse I cheated and ate 3 pieces of pizza yesterday, and had two cans of soda, that's all I had eaten for the entire day. I was said because of the stepper.

Now I need to find another stepper

And for those of you who like to hear poop talking I am teaching ds how to wipe his own butt, he is lazy and rather yell he's done and have mom or dad wipe his butt. He's 4 soon to be five! So its time for him to do it on his own!!!

Did I see the tinkerbell ipq in this thread or dealz? Scratchchin
Just a tip I read that if you take a couple of napkins and blot blot blot that pizzza it can cut up to 30% of calories. I'll do anything that's painless.. it all adds up.
There is still tonight and tomorrow is a new day.hug

okay all of a sudden everytime I think about K cups I Coverlaugh,

Maybe the Mavis stories LMAO

Yeah and I'll say something nicely to a child I think is in danger, mean no offense to moms, hey they don't have eyes in the back ot there heads. I know I didn't.

I rather risk offending someone anyway, rather than see a child hurt himself,,oh well.

About a week ago, my oldest and I were leaving T and saw some Darwin winner pushing his toddler (seated in the back) and infant (in car seat on top of the cart, which are NOT designed to have car seats in the seat area, it can make them unstable)
Aaaaaactually, there are little hooks at the back of those seat bottoms (that make that "click" noise when you pop it in the base) that attach to the metal back of the seat area that you are talking about. I have to push in the release on the seat just to pull the baby seat back out.

(I did LOL when I read how totally stupid the guy was though)

I meant the shopping carts weren't originally designed to have a car seat in the seating area. The seating area is also meant for toddlers under 35 lbs. The car seat manufacturers often also state in the manual specifically not to place the car seat on the top of a shopping cart. Those hooks are usually to latch the seat into the matching travel system stroller, not for attaching to shopping carts. It also puts baby at a bad angle in some seats.

From Consumer Reports:

Quote :
6. T or F: It's safe to hook an infant car seat onto a shopping cart.

Answer: False. Slots underneath many seats help them attach to the frame of a shopping cart, but the American Academy of Pediatrics and many manufacturers don't recommend using them this way, and neither do we.
and

http://www.aap.org/advocacy/relea...ngcart.htm

eta didn't matter to me, I'm a baby wearer so the kids only used the infant seat while we were in the car.

What size are your dogs? If they are smaller, you can get the largest dosage of Frontline (available at T, use your towels for overage to help), and get a syringe from the pharmacy. Petshed has a dosage chart on there. If your dogs are small, like mine, I can get around 5 doses out of 1 dose of the largest dog size (60lbs and up, I think). I would ask around a little first, when I took my dogs to MO this summer, I got there with my Frontline, and found out that Frontline doesn't work out there. Luckily, I had the extra money to shell out for the more expensive stuff (mind is blank, can't think of the name), because it was the only thing working. I was not a happy camper! Here in GA, I have no problems with Frontline, plus with our cats, who play, sleep, and bathe the dogs, Frontline can also be used for them, the other stuff is toxic to cats.
Thanks but Nono that is way too much work, especially as it's not my dog laugh out loud

I don't buy them on the bay anyway b/c it takes too long/sometimes too expensive.

Use these [e-junkie.com] peeps instead but I don't know if any sellers accept payments other than PP.

I wondered if they still did that. My daughter's seat had those and it was soooo nice and handy. And, yes, that is the only thing they were for. Back then the seat did not clip in and out of a base nor did it go from that to a stroller or anything. It was just a newborn car seat... that she used until she was nearly a year old. Everything else was too big for her.
