Oh, speaking of CCs...did the minimums on the Target card go up? I have a low balance on there and have been dragging out paying it off until I can get a paycheck again, but now it's jumped from $10/month to $25- and definitely haven't missed a payment.
Yes, they did I got a notice last week or so.

Is anyone else a HGTV fanatic? I have been watching all day when I should be writing a paper.. Buying a house has peeked my interest in all these shows.. I realized the house I just bought needs major upgrades... Its hard to have high end taste when you are broke. LMAO

My mom is going to help me pay to redo my kitchen to a more high end look.. new cabinets and countertops.. We decided not to paint them, but to just spend the money to redo them.. The countertops are new formica (ugh) , but the cabinets are the originals which are a white. There are not that many cabinets, so it won't be that expensive to find some stock cabinets.. Its alot cheaper than custom.. She has has friend who is a cabinet maker.

I really like the idea of having the bathroom sink that looks like a big bowl! Thats another project I want to undertake...
I love HGTV but it comes in waves. I am redo my kitchen too. I have checked cabinets to go and like them more over the stock cabinet Lowes has for about the same price.

Finding a decent cheap counter top is my prob now

My 10 month old has a damn stomach virus. So it has been vomit-fest 2010 up in here. And evidently when she thinks she wants to puke she burrows her head into my neck and THEN starts vomiting. Seriously. I've changed clothes at least 7 times today and my hair still smells like puke. Ugh.
Awwww, poor baby. laugh out loud about puking on Momma.

Oh yeah - meant to mention that I had emailed to ask about what items are included in the $10/$5 Home/RE coupons - they replied with a copy of the coupon policy and told me to call the 800 number for more info on a specific coupon. GRRR. Not so helpful, IMO.

M2C, I hope she's feeling better very soon and no one else gets sick. And, my 8 yr old son loves the Tink movies. Smilie

Ank, I thought the coupon was valid on what is in the picture. laugh out loud Once you have a good nursing pattern established, you can use any good, supportive bra. Just move the cup out of the way.

I don't know - I never liked anything except an actual flip-top bra for my bf'ing experience. Either for laziness or discretion - one of the two. laugh out loud

That's how I roll here too. A big bday is coming up for me this Friday and I'm mad because my good friend asked DH this weekend what he was going to do for me. She said he looked confused. Today I got a text saying to get packed as he has plans for me all weekend.

Ok - I'm glad he actually did plan something before the actual day. But, I know had my friend not tipped him off he would have forgot. And, anyway I would have been happy just getting to go to Target for my b-day present. (sad...I know).
I am totally the same way I told dd not to tell her daddy because I want him to remember on his own, which he still hasn't Crying

I noticed in the kitchen area where the dish rags are there are metal hooks Home brand for .74 cents. All it says it "towel hook" think it'd fly? Evillaugh
I got one, but they adjusted it down to $.74. Duh, I wanted overage... Not a $.74 metal hook. Wink

ETA: I found a Schwinn 26" mens bike (Style Name: Madera) that rang up CSP. It was $199 original, so $19 would be the 90% off price. Was the mongoose bike actually scanning at $19 or CSP? They told me that they couldn't sell me the bike as CSP meant it was defective. They wanted me to show them the bike on the shelf (as I only asked about the CSP price) and of course I told them it was a women's bike (Whistling), so I will try again today w/ a different cashier Big Grin HTH someone!!
Yes, the Mongoose rings up at $19. No CSP.

way OT...but does anyone know FMLA laws? I left as a salaried employee and when I came back they reinstated me as an hourly employee...which means I will lose out on a few hours a week since I work less than 40 hours a week (but got paid for 40) plus I will lose out on some holiday pay and I'm sure there are other drawbacks that I cant think of right now because I am so Annoyed
Can they do this??

Ha ha... I was planning to go to my less-friendly store this week, so I was hoping for a note because they always freak at beepers.

Though, if it's good on anything pictured, then it would be good on towels and toothbrush holders - laugh out loud Evil

I just think that most guys aren't hard wired for this. Of course, I have a tendency to forget these things too, so I am a lot less likely to be upset or care about it... *laugh*

Hm... What about this (it's on the poster they should have displayed somewhere for the employees):
During FMLA leave, the employer must maintain the employee's health coverage under any "group health plan" on the same terms as if the employee had continued to work. Upon return from FMLA leave, most employees must be restored to their original or equivalent positions with equivalent pay, benefits, and other employment terms.
Use of FMLA leave cannot result in the loss of any employment benefit that accrued prior to the start of an employee's leave.

I thought they had to reinstate an employee at an equivalent position? I googled it, it requires the employee be given equal pay AND BENEFITS.

Hey, it's their logic, served back to them. Big Grin
With the bras, by the time I got to child #4, there is still modesty but you learn a lot of tricks along the way.
