myluvjustice, my feet are calloused the same way. I bit the bullet and got a pedicure ( I know they were speaking in their native language about my gross feet!) Then bought foot lotion and use it every night with a pumice in the shower the next morning.

Today is Official Towel Day.
Hit target and kohls this morning, there were price change people all over the store marking stuff down! I got a lot of cute socks for my neice for Xmas they were $1.00-$1.75, got the grooming thing that you hang on the wall so I can put all my junk in $7.48 -10TQ free plus overage. I was going to tell the cashier to adjust it down but this girl didnt say one word to me while ringing me up..NOTHING! At least say Hi or maybe "Have a nice day". So whatever,she paid me to take it home

But, on the foot pain, I can so relate. I had plantar fasciitis a few years ago. I am sure mine was from walking barefoot all the time. I was told that it helps alot to always try to wear shoes with some support even when you are walking around the house. But, I hate wearing shoes.. Mine come off as soon as I walk in the door. My feet would hurt so bad when I first got out of bed. Like needles shooting up through my heels and arch. And it would be so painful like a bruise all the way up beside my inner ankle and up the inside of my calf. After walking on it 10 or 15 minutes it would be much better. But, when I first got up I walked like a 90 year old for sure.
Mine was much worse on the mornings after I worked the night before. Something about walking on the flat hospital floors (no carpet) for 8-12 hours made the next morning unbearable. They did teach me some PT kinda exercises.. Kinda like someone mentioned (Ank maybe).. I was supposed to stand on the stairs on the ball of my foot and relax my heel down below the step to stretch the ligaments.. Same effect could be done by standing on the edge of a phonebook I was told.
Mine got better after a while on its own.. but, I think for me, it was when I lost weigh *shrug*
On the cracked heels.. That I can definitely relate. Mine are horrible and I can't stand the way they snag the sheets
The pedicures help, but the don't totally fix the problem. The pumice, vaseline, and oil did nothing for me. Mine have gotten a little better with using the ped egg and the lamisilk cracked heal stuff. My left foot isn't bad at all. the right is much worse. I *think* if I could soak my feet twice a day and use the ped egg thing, they would be much better. But, I am hit and miss with it. The healtastic seems to have hepled with the cracking skin, but it is still rough.
DH told me there is no hope for my feet. They are "too far gone"

Could it be in your wallet or with your Qpons ? Did it maybe not go in your bag ,but a different one,or fell on her floor ,or around her register, you could call and ask the store. Maybe fell out in the shopping cart .
