think ipod touch meets mac laptop screen. if you could just hold a mac laptop screen in your hand, much like holding a time magazine or any such mag, and do everything - surf the web, check emails, check sd, shop, pay your bills, get turn by turn directions, everything? that's the ipad for you. touch screen typing. limited storage. so it's not so much a computer replacement as a supplementary device to have in car, on nightstand etc,
and since i'm so nice, here's what i'll do for all of you: get it, i'll test it for you, post poop stories from stores and such, and tell you whether it's fabulous enough, so you can decide whether to get another one...
Now, I have to go check out this Clarisonic.

There is a supermarket (local chain) that is a few blocks from my house that, on a weekly basis, has some really great deals. In the ad this week, they have 24 pack Coke for $3.99!! AND there is a coupon for $1 off. I don't drink soda but my aunt and uncle have a restaurant, and they are always in need of stuff like this. I go with my sister this afternoon, and we each pick up two packs, pay in separate lanes, and leave.
As we are wheeling our carts out, the manager steps out from the customer service booth and tells us that there is a limit of two packs on the soda. That's fine, we each bought two. Then he proceeds to tell us that we need to buy $10 more of stuff in order to get the additional two packs. What? C'mon, I am too familiar with the per person/per purchase/per transaction game. Two people - two packs each - what is the problem? He tells us that they are losing money on these deals and that he sees people come in and just buy the specials and leave.
Ugh, S&Gers. I'm sorry, but if you know that is going to happen, don't have these doorbuster deals! And don't blame me for not following your "limit" rule when I don't have a cart full of Coke.
And I would take my sister and proceed to each and every dang store in the vicinity and buy 2 a piece every day of the sale. (Ok, that's just spiteful. Unless, you want more pop!)
