I think I was around 36 or 38 weeks so she was super chubba. I paid like 200 dollars to have it done and it was so awesome. She was born with the fattest cheeks I've ever seen. lol

Yeah, it looked like eyelashes in a different pic I had but the tech said the machine can't pick up hair.

I lied. The pic says I was 33w4d.

First, I have to say that goat's milk is nasty.

Second, I would really like some cookies or tortilla chips.

Quote from LongTimeLurker7 :
You can buy milk in a bag, much cheaper!
Milk in a "bag"?? I have never seen that!

Quote from gatorcater :
It is a $5 OYNO wyb $25 worth of energizer, schick, skintimate, edge, playtex and some other products. the $25 is based on shelf price, as opposed to sale price, so it's easier to get to the $25 requirement. You may want to check the price of the hydro razors if you have MQs for them. Our price was $5.12 on sale but $8.22 regular price, so I would buy 4 razors, used (4) $5MQ, for OOP of $0.48 get $5 back.
HTH get you started. Smilie

Cat deal ends 9/30
I have been doing a mix of playtex tampons (shelf $4.39, sale $2.99), schick hydro 3 or 5 razors (shelf 7.12/8.19, sale 5.70/6.55), and energizer batteries (shelf 3.85, sale 2.50), and occasionally throwing in some of the disposable schicks for 5.99 (using 6.00 mq or 5.00 mq) and the banana boat stick sunscreen @$4.59. I have a couple cards with the $4 eq on them still for the schick razor, so those are the transactions that I have thrown in the sunscreen cuz we use 'em/need them.

I sooo wish I had had the free shave gel wyb schick razor peelies! I don't have that many schick q's - just couldn't force myself to pay what they wanted on ebay for 'em.

I've also used some overage from nature made and nature bounty vitamins. They are bogo, and there are eq's for 2.00 and 2.25 (not sure which is which) and I had some $2 mq's I'd gotten from mailers. The cheapest vitamin runs $4.XX - so approximately 1.50ish in overage. It's not a lot, but when you are mixing and matching like I've done, it's better than nothing!

Quote from tn_native :
Has anyone used the Tide TQ hangtag (that was with the C9 Q) on NON-Sport scented detergent?
Dunno about the prices - kind of weird. I accidentally used the tq on a non-sport and it beeped. I tried to tell him that i hadn't gotten that kind, but he k1d it anyways. *shrug*

Awww... how neat!

Quote from gt6mk31 :
It tastes different. I don't like the taste of the plastic. It's kind of funny. My family will tell me that they don't taste any difference. Yet, if I buy a gallon jug I always end up throwing a large part of it away. If I buy 4 quarts, it's gone.
We always go through the milk, but it definitely goes faster in the smaller containers than it does in the gallon size container. I haven't bought a gallon size container in a long time though - got tired of everyone being cranky and sick on regular milk so I have been doing the almond milk. Seems to go fast and I can hardly keep it in the fridge.

Is it bad that we are down here to take the kids to Busch Gardens tomorrow and all I can think of is how I can sneak into all the juicy Target stores around here?
I think it would be abnormal for a SDer to NOT think of that... Big Grin

My oldest will be 14 on Oct. 1st. Frown I just can't believe it!

Was it you who offered to babysit?? laugh out loud Normally, I'm a "I'll watch my own kids, thank-you" kind of person - but this has been a pain lately! Seems like life conspires against me!! DH had to work today, and oldest DD had a headache this morning, so I didn't go out in the AM - then DH/DD went to the new/temporary church building to paint and set up for tomorrow's worship and didn't get home til 7pm. By then I was not going to head out (in fact, I took a nap and woke up at 9:30 pm... laugh out loud ) - I had already been a bit drowsy while driving home in the afternoon! I did take my toddler and the baby to Kroger on the way home from dropping DD off at the church - and we did well today. No major melt downs - I think i hit it at just the right time. I also made sure to wear the moby wrap with the baby. That thing is a total life saver!

I suspect that we'll be getting better and better though. I am sure as baby gets a bit bigger and spreads her feedings out that it will get easier. That's the other thing - she eats around every 2 hours still. If I nurse and leave right away, that gives us until right about check out time until she starts to fuss. Not sure how to get around that. I guess if I have my oldest with me, I could make sure I bring some pumped milk and have her give the baby a bottle - but if I'm by myself I will either have to wait to check out and sit somewhere to nurse or ?? dunno. I guess I could learn to shop faster too... laugh out loud I think I end up looking too long or something.

Speaking of baby... She is getting sooo big already! She's lost her little chicken legs and is plumping up nicely. She's so aware and watches everything. She looks like she's concentrating so hard sometimes. She's been cooing in response when you talk to her, and *I* think there's been a few genuine smiles out of her already! DD and I also swear she said "hello" 2x, but I know that sounds crazy... lol. (though, my oldest was saying "Hello-hi" at 3 weeks old - and I have it on video to prove it!!) Anyway, she's adorable.

My toddler is still doing awesome with her little sister. She calls her "my bestfriend, Sister Mavis." Today she asked me if she could "chew on your nani too" (she STILL wants to try to nurse), and then she asked if she could feed Mavis. When I told her that only mommy could, she told me "I have nipples too!" :laf: She's such a goose. The only time we had a "problem" was when I had grabbed one of my toddler's blankets and put it over the baby. She insisted that it was her blanket and she wanted it NOW when she saw, and she's been protective of her blanket since then. Other than that - no other problems or jealousy issues. I do have to watch her because she tries to climb into the playpen or crib if I lay the baby down and turn away. She likes to cuddle up with the baby and isn't as gentle as I'd like to see her be - she doesn't know her own strength!

Well... guess I'll stop for now since I"ve practically written a novel.

ank, my oldest turned 14 a few weeks ago. She's already counting the days until she gets a license. lol
I miss those little newborn baby days, definitely don't miss the 24/7 nursing sessions (so it seemed).

We spent a few hours in the pool at the hotel since it was too stinking hot to actually go to Busch Gardens today. Tomorrow is park day. Wore the two boys out. Monkey seems to be a natural swimmer- bought him one of the class V swim float/ life vests on clearance at Target last week and he was doggy paddling- on his own! Needs to work on keeping his mouth closed while in the pool. He kept up a running commentary of everything he did- kick kick kick hi mommy etc.... lol

So today is my official graduation. I am not walking in the ceremony, but I have my diploma. It really feels good but I have had NO luck finding a job remotely legal in nature. We are hoping DH gets an offer soon for a job in Tampa so we can get the hell out of Michigan before the snow starts piling up! Pray
congratulations! now we know who to turn to for legal advice regarding target Evil.

my high school bff graduated from law school at a difficult time also. her credit card bills were starting to pile up and xmas was coming so i counseled her to go back to working as my mom's asst at a major insurance firm even though she was embarrassed to have graduated and end up back at the same place. money is money and she needed money. she ended up getting an offer from AIG who i think she had work interaction w/ (my mom worked in reinsurance) and has been there ever since.

you may also want to try volunteering or working at a nonprofit. i've had friends who've done both and ended up w/ good job offers elsewhere. or how about working or volunteering for a political candidate? that could also lead to something. in any case you want to be doing something, anything. if/when you move you will have something on your CV. there are also various clubs you could join to network.

sometimes you just have to be out there giving it 110% and somebody will like you and either offer you a job or recommend you to someone. i've seen it happen and it's happened to me also. even my bff has offered me a job twice but i told her if i worked for her we would end up not being friends anymore and i value our friendship so much more.

so adorable!

ugh! i'm getting the late nite munchies! must resist!

Frown went to target after dinner and no biggest loser scales anywhere! no up & up ibuprofen and it was 1.04. other store was .97. did a perimeter perusal and didn't find anything. walked out w/o buying a single thing! so sad!

i think my expanded target is limiting to one like tq per transaction. yesterday had one broccoli and one target ibuprofen and produce tq beeped. LOD came over and asked if the tq's were the same, i said no i have 2 tq's for 2 different things. then he asked if it was green giant, said they don't take it on green giant, only target Confused. when did target start growing produce?

last time produce, bread, colgate tq's were out the mgr came over for something, i had a lot of tq's and he mumbled something about having to check how many they were supposed to take. sounds like now they've cracked down. i was thinking i should be really mean and next time take up a bunch of produce and see if they take the tq on the beepers. if they refuse i will just have them take it off and they'll have to put everything back Evillaugh.

Ok.. I am working backwards.. going from newest to oldest posts... and will find more to respond to but my computer is spazzing!!

Today was interesting to say the least b4 I came home to find out about my friends sister.. I went to 4 Targets and Kohls... tomorrow is Kohls and JcPenney!!

Well 2 Targets were awesome!! Then went into number 3.. and the one front end supervisor chick sees my coupons and she seems to be a bitch... but then she shakes her head and screw faces the cashier.. what the hell!?! The cashier told me that the chick was getting upset, but none beeped and everything was going through great.. soooo no problems.. paid and got the freak out.. number 4-- was a hot mess!! Went to a new team member, everything is going great.. some coupons were ringing out at 0.00 but if taken in a different order they would go through except the orbits that expires on 9/30.. so finish checking out.. pay and then as I am walking out I see the cashier walking towards the manager (he left his register b4 cashing out the lady behind me).. so I sent dh in.. he told me that the manager and another lady were @ the cash register talking to the cashier.. I don't know if the lady behind me had a question or if he wanted to discuss me... but I got the freak out of there.. and will not go back for alonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time!!

Kohls went beautifully.. brought in my 8,7,5, and 4 year old.. all separate transactions x 3 for all of us!! YAY!! Now need to use more tomorrow!!

Smilie I do have pretty great kids - even when their horns are holding up their halos...

It's amazing how quickly you forget how much work is involved in a newborn. And a toddler for that matter. Keeping my toddler focused and on track is a huge job - especially when I'm so easily distracted!
