Next time you find yourself needing to use it, don't put the basket that holds the coffee grounds in. Just run it through straight into the pot. No coffee taste.

I even do that at home with my Bunn -- tea bags go into the carafe, no basket.

Hmmm, I never used formula, but why would you boil the water? Straight from tap you can get the perfect temp to go right in the little bugger's bottle. I guess unless you need to boil your water for sanitary reason or something. Then, I think at $0.50 a gallon, I would just buy it or at least boil up a gallon at a time.

High is supposed to be 69 - 71 here for the next several days so I shut off the air and opened all the windows. We'll see if it stays off. Feels nice and smells fresh right now anyway.

So paper towels this week, huh?
I don't know why.. but paper towels just don't excite me.. I have several packs in the garage, and when I think to go get a pack, we use them.. but most of the time, we just use my kitchen hand towels that I wash *shrug* I know other people flip over bounty on sale.. I guess I am just weird. maybe it is because the PT take up so much room in the big packs, so I keep them in the garage and am too lazy to walk downstairs and go to the garage for another roll laugh out loud

I'm thinking Tide, armed with what both HDD and L2BaM posted.

I'm happy to see you still have Qs.
I love me some Tide.. I never bought that brand before couponing.. I always used cheap detergent.. Since I have gotten hooked on Tide now, I just don't like much else.. I sold most of my Purex stash.. and still have a few bottles of arm and hammer (from Wags I think) and a Wisk or 2.
Speaking of Tide, I don't have a HE machine.. I have a 8 year old cheapie, but I NEED a new one. Our machine isn't working great. You have to spin the clothes an extra cycle each time.. I am hoping to make it until after Christmas and then splurge for a new one. But, I was thinking the other day that maybe I need to switch and start stockpiling the HE detergent rather than regular. Question is.. Does that kind ever go on sale like the others. I scanned several kinds last week and most of the tide and gain were 9.99, but the HE versions were 10.49 and 10.99?

Quote from HDDVDTV :
Will paper towels be ok at $10?
I personally never try to spend 10.00 on mine, so I really can't say for sure. For some reason I always think 9.99 is a good deal, but 10.00 just seemed like too much to spend.

Quote from sunshinesmom :
There is a larger size Downy 129 oz with pink top that is also ringing up at 9.99 although the shelf tag is higher.
I like downy, but I tend to forget to put it in.. Does fabric softener go bad?? I have a ton of downy from GC deals at target.. and a bunch of snuggle from that 3.00 coupon earlier in the year.. Thinking I may sale some at my GS in a few weeks.

I am so excited because our weather forcast is so much cooler this week toobouncebouncebounce Last week was mid 90's every day. I want fall weather so bad. I think we actually have a day predicted for 78-79 degrees this week. I am going to enjoy it while I can. Me and the toddler and heading to the park this week if so!

Not Target related, but CVS has Tampax Pearl 18-20 ct this week for $2.99 minus the $2/1 Q (either from 8-29 P&G or today's P&G).

I'm gonna be price matching at both T and WM. This is the only brand my nieces will use.

do black friday for sets. last yr bff needed one and they had a deal at best buy but she didn't feel like camping out. she ended up getting i think an LG set at home depot on line. you should probably set a deal alert and check home depot, lowes and bb b4 so you can check the ratings. if on slab, no probs. if not, i would definitely look into samsung w/ anti-vibration technology. i wasn't getting a set so i got a bosch and it shakes the house. i read the anti-vibration pads don't do anything. if you want more info on front loaders, i can go more into detail.

when it's on sale, there is no price difference for HE. just bought 2 tide HE for 6.49 for bff on friday. i also buy from cvs for her all the time and no differential.

yes, it does. i had one of those big warehouse jugs one time and it separated. now i just use white vinegar. less than 2.00/gal and better for my expensive machine.

Thanks for the reply. I may check on BF. I just know that time of year is so hard money wise with Christmas coming.. but maybe we can do a 6 month no interest thing, and pay it with income tax return moneyWink

As far as the fabric softener goes.. I really don't use it so much for the softening, as I do for the smell.. laugh out loud
Does vinegar leave your clothes smelling funny?

Okay, I need to find a place to order some coupons.. I want several of the ones from this week, but with newpapers being 2.50 each, I hate to drop 10.00 just to get 4 inserts, so I would rather order multiples. The prices on the bay seem really inflated right now.. I like to order from Lori site, and she has great prices, plus shipping is always fast for me, but she never has p&g coupons.. Last time I order from kuntry klippers, it took forever cause they are further away.. Any recommendations? I miss the days of dumpster diving at the newspaper office.. they moved locations Frown

My toddler has been waking up during the night for the last 3 nights and it is driving me crazy! She usually sleeps atleast 10 hours a night, but the last few she has gotten up around 4 am.. I hate it because it keeps me up, and because it makes her so drowsy and sleepy the next day. I hope whatever is causing it, stops real soon.. She woke up last night at 3 am.. I checked on her, kissed her, and put her back down. About the time I finally dozed back off, she started yelling and crying to go potty.. This was around 4. I got her up, took her to the potty without even turning the lights on, and put her back to bed. Started to doze again and she started screaming. I decided to let her just fuss for a bit and then maybe she would just go back to sleep. After 20 minutes, she was crying for "help" and DH went in with her. This was around 5 am.. I dozed while he was gone, and heard her crying again at 5:40. It was a long night, and needless to say, we didn't make it up in time this morning.. DH and the older kids made it to church, but we didn't. Frown

Feels wonderful outside today.. pouring rain, but I love it!

if you buy from home depot they may have a 12 month no interest deal esp for large appliances. i get coupons periodically. they don't send money off q's anymore Mad.

no, doesn't smell like vinegar unless you use too much, like the time i forgot and did a double dose. you need to experiment how much is the right amt for you.

bff can't do the vinegar b/c she does it for the smell too. but she told me she read somewhere that you can do half and half. i think she might be doing that b/c she's really cut down on buying fabric softener. although she might have bought a giant warehouse container of sheets or something.

i usually know what she's into b/c we go shopping together and she's the opposite of me. she never buys enough and is always running out and then she suffers and complains and tells me i was right b/c she doesn't want to pay full price.

i always buy more than i need. works for both of us b/c i can usually sell her my surplus at cost. she's even offered to buy my freebies and cheapies for a dollar but i can't make money off my bff. so she asked for healthy and beauty for xmas b/c she knows i can get better deals than her. but i think her kids would be very unhappy just getting toothpaste and smartrinse for xmas LMAO!

I NEED a new one.
I use the hand towels too. Just can't quite bring myself to buy, use, throw away like that just to dry my hands. And one is not enough to dry drippy hands. I do them to lay food on when I fry stuff or cook bacon.

I like Tide too but have been using All for waayyyyy over a year thanks to 100 oz. jugs, a mark down, and double coupons at KMart. Tide and All both work as well as the other, I think. It's the enzymes. The cheap stuff doesn't have them. Even some of the more expensive brands don't and they don't work as well.

Are you planning on buying a front loader? Biker Eric has a thread here in the lounge somewhere. Might want to take a look. He's also a good source of info for recommendations.

I dread the day when I have to replace either of mine and I can't find something that isn't digital with a bunch of damn doodads. I want hot, cold, warm. I want perm press and regular. And I want knobs! My last "new" dryer matches my washer and was twenty bucks. Used. Had it several years now. Only reason I was forced to by that was because something went wrong with the old one and the hubby refused to fix it again.

Oh my, I did some damamge at KM today. Found a bunch of planters, hurricane lamps, oil lamps, little yard things laugh out loud like mushrooms, squirrels, etc all scanned CSP, so I got each for 90%. All the clearance clothes are ringing up 2.99 no matter how much they are tagged. The signs said 2.99 or lowest ticketed price, but everything was 2.99. I picked up capris, tees, baby stuff (of course laugh out loud) but now I'm done with all the shower gifts and such for upcoming babies. I've got three (four including dd) to buy for between dec-jan. This just made it cheap and easy to get it done. Now I'm tired and have soo much housework to do since I spent the day helping with the nursery yesterday. I wish weekends were three days long Girly
