I just think I over did it today. Dumpster diving on a two step step stool didn't help anything (with the rain from yesterday, the papers were very heavy and it took a long time). Was supposed to meet the paperguy at 3, but he called and moved it to 5 (after I'd already started that way), so I went to the Athens, AL Kmart looking for another Pull Back Racer (Thomas the Train engine series), but they didn't have anything but the green one (green one I already have for Toys For Tots.. .looking for Thomas and the red one). Got TS3 colorforms instead (thanks for the directions about being found in the playdoh aisle ). I cut Qs from the papers that I dug out and waited on the paper guy, only to find that he gave me 3 SS and the Hasbro Qs for this week and then several from last week. Dumped all the recycled papers. Then I went to T (all ours are STs) and scanned all the Tide. Sounds worse than it shoulda been.
If I had known I had another 2 hours to wait on the paper guy, I would have Target'd earlier, but once I'm 15 miles past that, it's kinda worthless to come back into town just to do that.
And while I prefer to do home made cakes - I'm not totally above a box here and there. They are great in a pinch, always consistent, and there are actually a couple good ones out there.
Frosting, on the other hand, is a completely different story.

hi all. missed you guys. been trying to catch up. still feeling ickly but definitely better than friday and saturday. so i'm hoping on the mend.
slowtech and cathi and whoever else told me to slow down - you were sooooo right. trip to T on saturday was.not.fun. i was nauseous and dizzy with cold sweats and started running a temp halfway through the trip. ick. i think people took one look at me and felt sorry for me. k1.

today was trying to get some big size target home bath furniture items. cashier goes to put q through, beeppppp. calls mgr over
i considered throwing up on her.
anyways after i explained they were not copied, one coupon per item, i can do separate transactions, they're from the T website, they're for the right items, she says, then why are the coupons beeping? ask your corporate office that! told her this q always beeps on everything and has for a while now. she says, fine i'll only take one. just one. i made cashier void out the remaining bathroom boxes. so annoyed. she then took the q from him and said i'm taking this coupon to the office to check whether this coupon really exists.
yes, you do that lady. i'm calling CS tomorrow for the very first time and throwing a stink about your incompetence and you accusing me of copying coupons or creating fake coupons. RIDICULOUS.
as a consumer why would i want to waste my time walking around the store, picking out things to buy at a promotional price that T supposedly offers, only to be shot down on the promotion at the register because the managers don't know that their own company is offering the promotion, or because the company doesn't program the promotion to actually work? RIDICULOUS.
