Now I have an electrician coming over to fix our circuit that shorted down in the basement, feel like I am coming down with the flu... and have to clean up the house... and start/finish a 16 page case study due today... WTH!?! So I will definitely catch up with all of you... but it may take a while

On the Kohls card .. we had major credit issues about 5 years ago.. Got involved with a credit help agency that ripped us off and cause quadruple the problems.. Since then, we have barely used credit cards. Started one when we went on our cruise 5 years ago.. Have charged on it for necessities here and there.. but it is almost paid for. We have done 12 months same as cash on our last 2 big purchases (TVs). My DH is scared of opening more accounts. But, I am much more disciplined that I used to be. Something about getting started into slick dealing has made me so cheap! It is kinda sad sometimes, I won't pay alot of money for anything.. Anyway, I opened up a Lane Bryant charge card almost a year ago, only to get the extra 30% off they were giving. I have never used it. It stays at home locked in a drawer. I am thinking of opening a Kohls card to get the extra savings. My MIL told me she uses hers and comes right home that day to the computer and makes a payment online in the amount that she just charged. Which, I never thought of doing..

the AF organic fruit strips are TPC at $2 this week. 10 in a box. no junk in the ingredients. and only 45 calories, no fat, for each strip. they're very flavorful (blueberry, pomegranate and raspberry are the ones i've tried so far and my ratings are in that ranking order, too), and not cloyingly sweet, but they make the perfect sweet snack for those craving something sweet.
also, i've been so nauseous i've barely been eating cos anything i eat makes me more nauseous afterwards. but I found each time I ate one of these, a) no additional nausea afterwards and b) they actually made me feel better in that the nausea went down as did the empty stomach gastric irritation and the exhaustion. so, something to consider for those feeling under the weather also.

Hey Dieters --- are you using any of those Kohl's coupons to buy some things in a size or two too small? I haven't been yet, so I don't know what I will find. But if I find something I really really like and it's a little small... and a dollar... it's coming home with me. Incentive!
I work with people apply for credit, so I know having too little can hurt you just as bad as having too much. We paid all are cc of with our refund this year, and I use my american express between checks and my damn red card but we pay it off right away, my credit is climbing up slowly. So as long as we don't go nuts and charge more then we can pay we will be fine.
Dh and I had a really ruff time in beginning of 09 and we learned to live off necessity and that has taught us to spend what we need. But sometimes we splurge (or he splurges I should say)
